Don't forget the unseen comment line(till someone finds it) and you can use your imagination to as what it'd say

Bethesda Employee 1: Hey let's release 1.8 for Xbox and not tell anyone so the PS3 players don't know
Bethesda Employee 2: Great Idea!
Pete Hines: I'm going to go tweet about soccer!
Bethesda Employee 3: Wait a minute, shouldn't we treat all players equally, no matter if they play on PC, Xbox, or PS3?
Everyone else at Bethesda: kill....him...now....

You guys will get the update too. I don't have a date for its release, but it's being worked on.

I'll let you guys know about its release and the coming content as soon as I can.

I'm going to assume then that it has not yet been submitted to Sony for certification, such a shame as I was actually waiting to start a new character until the patch.

Wow just read the patch list for ACIII. Full patch notes, mere WEEKS after
going on sale.
Yet Beth get 12 MONTHS and still can't provide any useful information or DLC!
Do you not find that shameful Beth? Are you proud that you're letting Ubisoft
embarrass you in terms of customer support?
No other game company manages such a level of arrogance.
No wonder DLC's not happened on PS3.
You think everything you've done this far is acceptable.

new BL2 DLC come tuesday you going be trying it out?
Haven't missed one yet.

I feel the need to reward a company that dedicates itself to it's product and to it's customer so I've been supporting them the best way I can:with my wallet.
Been a busy day, so just catching up. Have to say i'm equal parts amused and enlightened.

Other territories(and the Playstation 3)

That is a very telling look at how Bethesda views the PS3. Though i wonder, if the PS3 platform is going to get the foreign market treatment; does that mean more cash to hire a special 'localization' team?
LOL interesting choice of words indeed. At this rate, the penguins in Antarctica will be playing Skyrim DLC long before we get a proper announcement.
I'm going to assume then that it has not yet been submitted to Sony for certification, such a shame as I was actually waiting to start a new character until the patch.
Hm,you'll probably have to postpone that plan for another month or so.

So given the fact that back in August, PS3 owners were told we're working on releasing Dawnguard. Do you feel this comment is comforting? If roles were reversed, do you feel this comment is something you'd want to be told? I mean no disrespect and have no intentions of making this an attack or comment on you personally. I understand that you are merely an employee.

Let's be honest here, the "information" that has been given by Pete Hines has been nothing but cloak and dagger type stuff. How is this in any way shape or form a good way to satisfy customers?

I was quite content for a long time. But the recent developments have just completely shocked me. And I'll say this. I own an Xbox, I own Skyrim for Xbox and PC. So why should I care? Because this is really crazy, that's why.

Here is a fact for everyone, when the patch is released and the DLC the PS3 community will not be happy. Their anger will only die done a little more complaining will follow more anger will follow long before this issues ceases to exist. Clearly it won't disappear completely it will reside in the back of the gaming worlds mind to rear its ugly head every so often mostly when Bethesda releases a game..

It's sickening, how Bethesda treats ps3 players.
3 unplayable games in a row, Skyrim still has no DLC, no updates on the matter, continuing to slap ps3 users in the face while xbox360 gets a ever flowing stream of content...*rage*

You know what I really, really don't want bethesda to relese any DLC or patches, it will only break the game more, they should just admit that they failed,

Gstaff, I really would like an answer to this question:

Is the reason it's taken so long for the PS3 version of this game to get content because the people who handled the PS3 version before all of this went to hell have been fired? I would be much more understanding if that was the case and you told us so, because it'd create the image that you guys do care about the quality of your products, and that you do get rid of people if they can't do their jobs properly.

I see several potential issues Bethesda could have with the release of 1.8 patch for PS3 ... Gstaff please correct me if I'm wrong:

1. They can't relase 1.8 patch with DLC menu item activated if they don't have any DLC for it to link to.
2. They can't release the 1.8 patch for PS3 until it's Sony certified.
3. They can't release DLC if they don't have any that works on the PS3 due to the original crappy port.
4. They can't release any DLC until it's Sony certified.
5. They can't release DB for PS3 until the 30 day Xbox exlusive is over, so no rush to give us the 1.8 patch.

feel free to add to this list

I think the real issue Beth has already ran in to is that dey to a stoopid to code for daw ps3. This sole reason gave birth to everything else you listed bro. Beth is number 1 on the top of my scrub list, right above those guys who made Fallout New Vegas. Hey.....wait a minute aren't these two guys related.

Asking questions of Bethesda is like an atheist praying. Pointless...

They believe they've done no wrong, continue to do no wrong.

If Beth's actions as a company were the kinds of actions of a single person they'd be classified PSYCOHPATH. (in it's correct form not the dress up as your mother and run a motel sense)

Hay all, is Dawnfireborn out yet? No? Did they fix the vanilla version yet? No? Oh well I bet they are working on it though and it will come out soon.

On a side note:

I went into my local Best Buy yesterday to look for a flat screen for my daughter for x-mas. I wandered over to the vid games section and the clerk dude came up to me suggesting some new releases. I asked him what he'd give me for a Skyrim trade-in. He literally laughed and asked what is up with that game. I was like, "what do you mean?" and he said he has never seen so many people coming in to trade in such a specific title and that they had a bin full of mostly that game in the back. He said he only keeps a few used ones out on the floor and sells more used games that are 3-5 years old than that one.
I promptly bought AC3 and a used Brotherhood (to catch up) and walked out of there only to forget to get my daughter's new tv. lol I'll have to get it when I go back with my copy of Skyrim to add to his collection.

No DLC will work on ps3 , the thing is Skyrim is type of game that can't run proprly on ps3 in first place, and bethesda used to top it all bad codding and just ported game, thats why any dlc or patch will break game, and thats why they should stop with stupid, "don't worry we can fix that you will get new content"

Cryticus: It could run properly if it was coded properly. But hey it's Bethesda, expecting them to do a good job of anything is like waiting for a re-run of Jim'll Fix It!
