Yeah, not gonna happen. PC players would rage and complain that they were "the platform that started the series"; So they're supposedly more entitled to free loot than anybody else here. Just another gateway to chaos in my opinion. I'd rather everyone get any and all DLC at the same time. No deals, no exclusivity, just equality.

They didnt get nerfed, the got fixed. Bows were bugged in 1.5, with arrow damage being applied twice.

Maybe with add-on it will be covered up, don't you think? With X360 update, and without Dawnguard, were there add-on menu?

we got Patch 1.6 & 7, ok understood & thank you bethesda.
but why didn't patch 1.7 add the dawnguard trophies like it did for pc?
we know we are getting Dawnguard, they said so themselves. to me it doesn't make any sense unless Dawnguard isn't coming out to Ps3 in this month of august?
witch if thats the case i'll go send my money on games like Sly 2 or Pure Chess stuff thats actually on Psn store & get dawnguad when i have enough money again. because August is my waiting limit for Dawnguard i have better things to do. - Againstallodds14

Pete Hines confirmed this a while ago on Twitter. Dawnguard is coming to all platforms. For whatever reason the rumor or gossip behind all this has assumed that the update automatically means Dawnguard would come with it. That is simply untrue. Just the update was released. Which lays the groundwork for DG but doesn't and hasen't ever meant that the two were linked.

I can't imagine it not coming out this month. I mean wow. If it doesn't come out till September, that is only like 4 months from the GOTY edition. I might as well just wait and get all the DLC for a lower price.

One thing I noticed is that this patch 1.7 for PC (and 1.6 for Xbox) added the "Extras" option in the main menu, so you could see that Dawnguard was available. However, nothing is in the PS3 version. I have a bad feeling about this. We WILL get Dawnguard eventually, but I reckon it will take a long time. =S

Dafuq? Forum admins are just starting a new # PS3 release date thread because the others were to their post limits. The only news they released about DG was that it haven't met their quality standards so they will launch it next decade or two

The point is that they almost "undercovered" released DG for the PC. Not even an announcement the day before. Just BAM, DLC released and news. At least if they said the PS3 version will launch 2 weeks from today, for example, instead of making me come here everyday to check for nonexistent news and hope to one day find it ready to be downloaded in the PS3 Store

its possible, but again why didn't patch 1.7 add the trophies like it did for pc? that got everyone on pc pumped up & ready to buy dawnguard. to me it is a smart business move.

all i want is for it to be out by the 17th! that gives 8 days...
and not nesisarily on these board but on other sites people are saying "i give up on bethesda" and things like that.... they make the best games and so what we have to wait...
sure it gets old but they said that ots not working properly... give them a break i bet they are freaking out trying to release it and were just being impatient
i mean im pretty sure most of us couldnt figure out hpw to get a game to work in the first place let alone add into it and make sure it works... they messed up who cares...

Disagree in here I must, my apprentice. I know that BootySweat, like all administrators here, started this thread 'couse of post limits in previous topics, but thay would just close those threads saying that Dawnguard for PS3 wasn't announced. They can't 'couse they did, so it's pointless wondering if it is ever going to be realised on Sonys platform.

I can say I'm thankful for version 1.7 on PS3. I've noticed no bugs (although to be fair, I've never really had any issues with my PS3 copy. All other folks: my heart goes out to you!). The main reason I'm happy is on my main character (level 52 dark elf mage, Vivec.. never did the book-breaking-cheat-to-be-godly but worked hard on his magic mastery) I can go into Whiterun again. I am not sure how it happened, but an NPC from the Companions had been in combat with me and it was a hassle to mitigate navigation around my home-base. I never did anything to damage him and he would follow me relentlessly through town, with guards putting him on his knee and everything. After the patch, all is back to normal and I am psyched in preparation of DG with this toon.
