did anyone else prep or by saving up items for dragonbone weapons?? i got alll the grand gems i need and all the bones/scales:)

Can I add that I fully expect DG to come to PS3 very soon? If you are of keen mind you will observe that Bethesda is, in fact, working on the DLC for us. "Not being satisfied" is simply what it states: they are not satisfied with the coding and the current outcome of DG for PS3.

After patching I did check the PSN, just in case.. and no-not there yet.. but if folks can be assured that it will be here rather soon. I understand "soon" is a relative term, but I'd rather get the DLC than not at all. I was certainly upset when the 30 day agreement ended and there was no DG, but then got to thinking that it won't matter if I'm playing it right now or two weelks from now. I'll still enjoy it.

Then again, my version of the game has encountered minimal bugs since day one, so I'm sure others have a different opinion on the matter.

As a mage (that I first intend on embarking on the content) I have no real use for them, even though.. if I wish to embark on the long haul of mastering all skills (never did the book-cheat) I will need to have some. Then again, I think my dark elf has saved his from all the dragons I've killed..

My Orc.. well, he's a different story.. maybe have to push him to Dragon from Daedric..

Got a Breton Battlemage on stand-by. Level 24 and I keep resisting furthering him because I want a "fresh" character to run DG with. :biggrin:

Trophies are always pre patched in before new content. 1.7 brought no trophies for Dawnguard. Dawnguard is not coming to the PS3.

all i want is for it to be out by the 17th! that gives 8 days...
and not nesisarily on these board but on other sites people are saying "i give up on bethesda" and things like that.... they make the best games and so what we have to wait...
sure it gets old but they said that ots not working properly... give them a break i bet they are freaking out trying to release it and were just being impatient
i mean im pretty sure most of us couldnt figure out hpw to get a game to work in the first place let alone add into it and make sure it works... they messed up who cares...

The issue isn't that it's not out yet, the issue is not that mistakes were made, the issue is that they won't give us an estimation on what day to expect. We literally have people here thinking, days, some weeks, some think months, some even think as far as years.

To the ones thinking days they don't feel so stressed, the ones thinking weeks feel a little more stressed (especially with school right around the corner), and the ones thinking months are considering whether or not they should even wait. The ones thinking years are just plain gone by now lol. I think they left the forums days ago.

But all we want is to have that straightened out. They don't need an exact day, say a few days. Say a few weeks, say a month, say 2 months. Say something so we know roughly how long to wait.

The fact that they can't give any estimation date either means that they are being a bit inconsiderate, or the game is bugged beyond all comprehension lol.

Nothing is never a good sound, it's never good news. It's almost always a bad thing if you hear absolutely nothing. And thats why people are worried and giving up. If it's not that bad, then tell us. But people tend to keep quiet when things are doing horrible.

Yes, but this shouldn't be a concern. Beth is working on it. I have no reason to believe it isn't being perfected.

At this point I'm simply happy to play my mage in Whiterun again until the DLC comes :biggrin:

for all my characters i'm ready expected for my first ever character, i hope 11 dragon bones, 6 dragon scales & 2 ebony ingots are enough. because on my first run i solded or used every dragon bones & scales i picked up. not knowing how importent they they are at the time.

Last comment from PR was they "weren't satisfied" with the DLC for PS3 yet. So you tell me; does this mean "ahh.. scrap it. Let's move on and make our PS3 users eternally angry".. or does it mean exactly what it says?

no its the truth in that Trophies are always in the patch before a dlc. but weather it will be coming to ps3 is a matter to debater in the coming months

Furthermore, need I remind folks that not all games on PS3 have an in-game option for DLC. Sometimes you have to visit the store to find it. The PS3 is a different platform from Xbox and PC.

Again, I'm not concerned and even though I'm as anxious as anyone here, I'm sure it will be with us soon! :biggrin:

im just going to say this and that nothing is set in stone.....
it could very well not come to ps3 or it could or fallout happens or homefront or too many bugs in the dlc

Again the issue isn't 'IF' it's 'WHEN'

If they were to just release a general idea as to when dawnguard would be out, this thread would simply die. No point in having it if we all have an idea. Then we'd come back on said day if it's not out, and check to see if it was delayed again.

Yes that is true but maybe sony chose to keep the dlc trophies hidden until they can confirm that the dlc is coming. or bethesda is keeping them hidden for the surpise release, theres many other ways to see this but it not coming at all isn't one of them. knowing that bethesda as already stated that we are getting it. they just never said when. - againstallodds14

well in every game that i have played that has dlc Trophies has had a patch update and stuff or you could look at F:NV in that there was a patch for ps3 before every dlc

Dawnguard PS3 is not cancelled. If it was, we would have said that. We simply said we aren't satisfied with its performance yet.

Yup. I have 138 dragon bones and their required ebony ingots and leather strips.

Even if it is a month, as long as it is in the works (which I am certain it is).

Sure, the wait stinks.. but as long as the content is as reliable as my version has been (again, PS3 with minimal issues since day one!) I will be happy.

I've got plenty of games and am even thinking of revisiting Morrowind soon. I hear the Morrowind Overhaul 3.0 is coming soon and I am kind of thinking of returning to semi-roots.

Waiting? The pits. Satisfaction of a DLC we have all been waiting for? Worthless to some. The games created by this company? Pure gold.

I still remember seeing Morrowind for the first time and the danger/amazement of the...well, everything. I bought an Xbox 360 for Oblivion when it was an exclusive and then transferred to PS3. My preferred is PS3 (even though I have a decent gaming computer. I simply have a family now and computer is used more for.. well.. online school and whatnot by my wife). I cannot think of one reason Bethesda would not be working on this for us.
