PS3 Release for Dawnguard - Thread #5 : V - Skyrim

Now that dissatisfaction has turned into anger, I feel like they'll possibly either delete the angry posts or close the thread entirely.

If they do the latter I don't think people will just give up on angry rants. People will probably create new threads to rant, which will lead to suspensions. And as they begin to suspend people, they will piss people off more. And afterwards they'll just push us away even more...

In all honesty I've been trying to give suggestions to keep people's anger down but they never took any of it seriously I guess.

For whatever reason dawnguard was highly anticipated and has had a great negative effect on PS3 users view on Bethesda because of that.

I already gave up on dawngaurd, pretty much everyone else has too. Whoever the team behind this ps3 porting is, [censored] YOU.
Seriously. It may just be a game to some, others feel like we have missed out on a huge experience.

That's the pattern i've seen elsewhere. Any longtime Sci-Fi fan that's been around and active on a certain messageboard will most assuredly recognize what's going to keep being played out over the next while.

As one who actually has had a few X-mas's taken from them as a child, i have to say you have hit the nail on the head in terms of my feeling on this situation.

But all of the extra things Dawnguard has should have been Included in the Vanilla game in the first place. Thats why this DLC pisses me off.What does Dragon Bone Weapons,Crossbows,Changing Characters Face all have to do with Dawnguard....Bethesda is being cheap here....If ******* ***** **** Bethesda doesn't release Dawnguard witch is starting to seem like its never going to come to PS3 then at least they should give PS3 players all the new features added for free...

Bethesda, you've had quite a few articles made after dawnguard was released stating pretty much, COMMUNICATE

Thus far, this whole Dawnguard dlc fiasco is #3 on the top 7 worse release date delays for 2012.

No, I want to become a vampire lord, break your game if it does not come out the whole dlc.

The vampire lord transformation isn't that great...You'll find that it gets boring quick. Just ask people that have played it. But if you wish to wait for eternity for a DLC to come then go ahead.

I personally wouldn't expect anything for free, but say a $5 'Item pack" or something along those lines would keep me set until Dawnguard dlc is actually finished for the PS3.

WE ALL THOUGHT IT WOULD COME OUT IN THE SUMMER, NOW SCHOOL STARTS IN 2 DAYS FOR Me, and probobly a week for other people if it hasnt already. just release it please!

Many people just 'say' this kindve thing..But i will, in all honesty, NEVER, purchase another Bathesda product as long as i live...And Im and avid gamer..Pc, Ps3, 360, Wii, and everything since the Atari...Bathesda has now reached status equal to that of EA...Thats saying something...

If this industry keeps in the direction its headed, gamers will be dissappointed, and screwed over with each and every release (kindve how we are now)...I already refuse to buy new releases for 4-6 months due to pricing, NEVER being playable anymore for atleast a month or two after its release...Theres just too many things wrong with the gaming industry as whole now, and im keeping tabs....EA, Activision, and now Bathesda are villians! The list of reasons why i wont purchase from certain companies, and reasons for such grows constantly!

Its not coming out today, nor COULD it tomorrow. The PS store only updates once a week, tuesday around 7pm eastern time for US, and wednesday about the same time for EU. Earliest it even CAN come out is next tuesday, 7 days from now. Even then i doubt it will come out. My guess is around the 28th or sept 4.

so mounted combat for europe isnt released yet? >.> i at least wanted to try that while i waited for dawnguard but i dont care about it anymore im looking foward to halo 4 and gonna get javik for mass effect 3

i've lost interest in skyrim tbh if only they would add more factions and updated each of the vanilla ones with 20+ custom made quest lines each lol.

whats this about mounted combat being patched? Is this not something we have to wait for Dawnguard for? I started a new character saturday, and i refuse to buy horses anymore since they die easier than a friggin Rabbit! I think i had some update the other day, but payed no attention to it..

Personnally, i could care less about Xbows..The only weapons im sick of not being implemented in medievil games are whips and flails!! Why do we never get the badass Ball-n-chain?!?!?
