That's because unfortunately the beta test for Dawnguard was just a publicity stunt.
Yes, this is my point. They didn't care enough to bother fixing DG for the Xbox or PC community, and still can't be bothered with the myriad of multiplatform issues their base product has, but now the redheaded stepchild is getting special treatment while they try to fix it because of quality concerns?
I can't imagine after releasing Skyrim in its initial condition, blowing off the PS3 users for four months before partially fixing it, following up with http://youtu.be/e3gWvxHWFuI and then months of radio silence to the PS3 customer we should now believe they are so concerned with our experience that they are withholding the release.
"""Yeah kiddies, just close your eyes and Santa is going to leave you a little surprise under the PS3 this year!"""
I can't imagine the person that buys into this misiniformation stream.
DG for PS3 just doesn't exist, and the game is still so broken on PS3 that they consider it unworthy of their time to try and add it on. I'm still shocked we got patch 1.7 - I think if we ever see DG they'll do it so far down the road the plankowners wont be buying but they can capitalize on a new group of victims.
