Still in the dark. It's why we had angry people on here earlier.

Look, its hard to believe that DG will be released any time soon, if ever.

Their excuse about performance is dubious enough as it stands. However, we have already seen beta testers used for the xbox version of the add on, if a working version exists and it simply fails to meet Bethesdas usual high standards then why not open a small beta for the PS3 community?

Doing so should dispel rumours of DG never coming to PS3 and also help Beth's team get a better assessment.
That's because unfortunately the beta test for Dawnguard was just a publicity stunt.

Yes, this is my point. They didn't care enough to bother fixing DG for the Xbox or PC community, and still can't be bothered with the myriad of multiplatform issues their base product has, but now the redheaded stepchild is getting special treatment while they try to fix it because of quality concerns?

I can't imagine after releasing Skyrim in its initial condition, blowing off the PS3 users for four months before partially fixing it, following up with http://youtu.be/e3gWvxHWFuI and then months of radio silence to the PS3 customer we should now believe they are so concerned with our experience that they are withholding the release.

"""Yeah kiddies, just close your eyes and Santa is going to leave you a little surprise under the PS3 this year!"""

I can't imagine the person that buys into this misiniformation stream.

DG for PS3 just doesn't exist, and the game is still so broken on PS3 that they consider it unworthy of their time to try and add it on. I'm still shocked we got patch 1.7 - I think if we ever see DG they'll do it so far down the road the plankowners wont be buying but they can capitalize on a new group of victims.

The least they can do is say something to us.

Dissatisfied over here, clearly people are reading cause messages get deleted. I just want someone to talk to us. I will not spend 100+ dollars on a graphics card to rebuy skyrim and then buy DG....

I'm not gonna send money to get my 360 fixed to rebuy skyrim and then buy dawnguard.

I just want some info as to when we can expect it...

We still feel like we're getting the crappier end of the stick compared to every other console.

We still feel like we're not really being cared for. If you would just break the silence that would change so much...

Blarg! The sad thing is that when Bugthe$da releases Dawnguard for PS3, it will be like PC: DLC in Store & minor DLC Patch BAM! No news the day prior to DG's PC release were given. I was one of the many users who saw Gstaff post at the time the DLC was available on Steam, so what I think is that Dawnguard will be like a surprise to us. They will only announce news of it when it is released (Irony)

Yeah ironic...

But if that's what they do then they've kind of screwed up this surprise

Dawngaurd at the earliest will be next tuesday. It wont be out this tuesday, as the ps store releases the update several days in advanced.

If youd like to see what the store will be updating this week, heres the link:
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/08/12/the-drop-week-of-august-13th-2012-new-releases/

As you can see, no dawnguard. I have already spent my dawngaurd money, and will not be able to purchase it any time soon. Tough luck beth, maybe if you werent a bunch of lazy, greedy, money driven slobs, this wouldnt have happened.

Still no news... wow. It would be nice if they could just say what the difficulties of what the hold up was... i know they said they are not happy with DG performance but what does that mean? Memory issues? Lagg issues? what are the possible issues thats taking so long to fix/release? Not that im a computer programming buff but its just nice to know whats going on. Things like this would be nice... WE BEEN NON STOP WORKING ON DG PS3 AND WE ARE SEING RESULTS HOPEFULLY TO BE RELEASED SOON or..... WE HAVE BEEN HARD WORKING NON STOP ON DG BUT STILL NO PROGRESS or.. WE HAVE TRIED OUR HARDEST TO MAKE DG WORK ON PS3 BUT IT JUST WONT HAPPEN WE ARE SORRY BUT WE TRIED.. Something along those lines as a customer and a ps3 user would really be appreciated alot.

No offence to mr pete hines but he could atleast say abit more then no new info ect...I understand that people can say.. well what else can Pete say about it.. but really for a VP of PR an marketing its limited/shallow in what he does say. A bit more communication goes along way in the appreciation prescriptive.

Im thinking Pete might say something while at gamescon im probably wrong but they usually update on stuff when they are at game shows/events i dunno why though cause they say they have no/little info but then all of a sudden Bam... lots of info lol (of course they know whens/wheres/times/dates) they just dont want to say. (unless an event is going on lol).

OH WELL.....THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT TUESDAY!

This tuesday was the last straw for most people.

And I don't plan to come here and check the store every day for the next month or two, and I'm not one to just do random research on games. When it comes out I probably won't even know...

I'll be coming here for a little while longer, and several people have made accounts purely for information with none being gained.

It's just annoying. If it's playable I hope they put it out soon if it is pretty much the same as when skyrim first came out on the PS3 compared to 360.

If it's playable I won't care.

I'm sure you're all listening, can you please just give us a day? Can you give us a month? A year? Something? Anything?

Not being satisfied means nothing to us. We don't know what that means besides it's not to your standards. What are your standards? Skyrim on PS3 was bugged and that was apparently up to par and good enough to release.

But then again, you all decided it's not good to release buggy games. Yet you decided that after releasing it to PC and 360?

Just please say something, anything at all. This is just getting so old...

I want to have faith, but how can I when nothing is ever said? I'm sure it'll come out, but when? Will it be a year from now? 3 months? Tomorrow? Just say something, I don't understand how just 5 words is so impossible...

People will get mad? Well we're already just kind of either upset, or given up. It's like not telling daddy you broke the vase and waiting till he gets home, sees it for himself, then yells at you for it. He's gonna be mad anyways, but it's better that he'd know straight from you than to find out you went all cloak and dagger and thought you could get away with it.

Just say something. Because each day in silence is more frustrating than the last. That frustration builds, and I still want this. But if you can't say anything, and that frustration continues to grow, by the time it's released will I still want it? Or will it have created so much stress it just becomes a turn off.

Give us the hype back, even if that hype isn't for tomorrow, give us a day to look forward to rather than the speculation theories and crushed hopes we're stuck with now >_>

XD You guys realise this isn't really the norm, right?... Most people don't even follow this stuff, they just get it whenever they see that it's out. Being all angsty and denying them your money isn't even going to make a dent in their sales, you're only hurting yourself...

Most people buy things when they see them in stores. This doesn't have a physical copy of it.

Most people also don't search their DLC options often unless they hear something specific. And I heard about this from a YouTube ad. It's why I'm here now.

My theory? They have a major flaw in the DLC Dawnguard that totally breaks Dawnguard. They aren't releasing this problem because they don't know if they can fix it or not. Which would explain the lack of news. They don't want to come out and say "Hey, we have a problem that if left unfixed will force us to not release Dawnguard for PS3 users. We don't know if we can fix this problem, but we are going to try."

Unless you are completely bored of Skryim with no DLC i wouldn't recommend waiting for this DLC :stare: I really dont like this DLC at all...The moment i heard this was about vampire hunters, vampires, trolls in armor..I was very disappointed..IDk maybe im just tired of all this Vampire and Trolls stories now days..Seriously this mythological creature is so overused its not even entertaining anymore..Out of all the crazy creatures out there they decided to make a story about killing vampires or becoming a vampire lord.. I :obliviongate:

True, but what other story line could they have used? What other "monster"? And a good storyline too.

Well I'm a fan of vampires, and I had put skyrim down for months until I saw the commercial, and to my disappointment the one system it wasn't out for yet when I saw that commercial was... PS3!!!! xD

If after all this they did not release it, they would truly, truly, truly piss people off.

Especially those so eagerly waiting, hopeful, and enthusiastic with nothing lowering that, like stormwatcher182003, they would just crush someone like that.

They can keep us updated on their problems, but if they just eventually come out and it becomes a lost cause, they will really have alot of angry people there. They should know that we're all waiting for it, they've had 5 threads of complaints, and probably a few side threads, and even some people from other systems sympathizing.

It is stated that it will be coming out but not when, so they've already put things in motion for it to come out. To go back on that would just really be annoying.

Once it's out, people won't be seeing much of me here though xD
Probably be a breath of fresh air to some of you lol
