I was just wondering if PS3 users will get a price cut for Dawnguard because of the extra wait. At the rate we are going many 360 users will have finished it by now and move on to Hearthfire next week, while the PC users (which also had to wait a long while too) at least had dozens of mods they could download, PS3 users on the other hand have kind of been left out in the cold here because we don't get early access or have the option to make our own stuff, anyway I was just thinking out loud here.

Personally, I'm still eyeing the possibility that Dawnguard has been scrapped, and they are until Dishonored hits the market to tell us. Minimizes the risk that the PS3 version won't move copies in response to Bethesda's (mis)handling of Skyrim on the PS3.

Not stating this as definite fact, but I wouldn't discount it as a possibility either.

I find it hard that a so called proffesional developers can't code a console that has been out for years. We're not talking about some amateurs at home trying to code this but so called proffesionals.

While I share the sentiment that all of this is ridiculous. Keep in mind, that people other than Bethesda have said the PS3 is difficult.

And the biggest thing. How many years have they been building the automobile? And yet, they can still screw that up.. on a large scale or even on just one.. hence the need for lemon laws. I know, not the best comparison but still.

But yes, it's a real slap seeing Hearthfire announced today for next week.

Why can't we beta test it? Honestly... Xbox got a beta test. PS3 Dawnguard needs bugs fixing and we can't beta test it?

Xbox players have been testing the game since November, and now very little is fixed. I don't see the point.

Sounds like what went on with the Killzone 3 beta, since the devs made that worse.

I'm guessing the point of beta-tests nowadays is they promote a false hope that things will be fixed in a game the majority of the market is STOKED for. From what I've endured in the past, beta versions are almost better than the final builds. It's like they add everything you want to a demo or beta to get you hooked on the game, then remove it all on release so you'll buy a half-assed product.

Blah, I don't even know anymore.

It was more or less my attempt at trying to get Dawnguard released earlier.

This topic is highly misleading as dar'istrali said. There is no word on Dawnguard getting delayed or anything. They simply said they're having issues with Dawnguard on PS3,they WOULD LIKE to get it released for us: see the difference?Oh they also made a really good joke about them always tryin to get things available for everyone.

Edit: Can't wait for Hearthfire. OH WAIT, I'm on PS3.But I'm sure they're trying SO hard to get it released.
*Third DLC gets announced and PS3 users still don't have any release date for Dawnguard*-----> FUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Your argument is invalid because they do not have the computer logo either, yet Dawnguard has come out for the PC.

If the third dlc comes out for xbox and we still don't have Dawnguard or any word of it, I give up on this [censored]. Really. If Beth thinks that we, as PAYING customers, don't deserve their respect or even a damn status update on Dawnguard, then they certainly don't deserve our respect or our money.

No prob. I thought about that too when Dawnguard had yet to be released on PC. We won't see any PSN/PS3 logo in the future either,by the way.

You see, putting the PS3/PSN logo there would effectively force them to release the DLC to PS3. Bethesda don't want that. They want the option to bail out at any possible moment, and they are taking precautions to make that possible. They didn't give us a certain release date so that we can't use the argument "oh it's not out when it's meant to be"; they didn't include the PS3 logo so they don't HAVE to give the DLC to us... you get the general idea.

They don't want to be in the situation where they HAVE to give us the DLC.

What's even funnier is that I've just read an article stating that "Hearthfire will come out on XBOX 360 on 4th September and for pc and ps3 LATER".
Where the hell did they read that it's coming out for PS3? That's exactly one of those kind of misleading articles I used to read when Dawnguard was announced.

Well.... Ever sense they announced Hearthfire's release date. It became clear to me were their interests lay.... I guess now we know why we haven't gotten word on Dawnguard. To busy working on Hearthfire it seems.
Come on Bethey I'm sick of this, if you're not going to release it, and you deep down you really don't want to make stuff for PS3, just come out and say it already. Well just go ahead living our lives knowing the truth has come out, and what many have suspected has been confirmed, then we live the rest of our lives avoiding your games like the plague.
I'm sure you don't want this, but you're already treating us like crap.
I've honestly lost interest now, I'll end up getting Dawnguard because I've been holding money in my account for it, but after that I'm done with the company. I've told my self this 2 times now. I forgave the FO3 DLC, and Deadmoney. But I'm not willing to forgive after this. I thought Dishonored looked cool, but now I'll never know, like It seems I'll probably never know Dawnguard.....

Ahhh so that's why they didn't even tell us that it's actually coming out! That actually makes sense! Thanks dude! Now I'm not doubtful at all, thanks!

I am outraged with the announcement of Hearthfire for Xbox. Bethesda, you need to make sure all systems have the previous version of DLC avalible before you start releasing a new one. I am OUTRAGED. Ps3 is always getting the short end of the stick, and I am really getting sick of it. Seriously, Ps3 users are being neglected by you guys. WERE STILL WAITING FOR THE MOUNTED COMBAT PATCH. Get your act together Bethesda. Your ruining your companies repuatation. -_-

They aren't saying anything becuase it's safe to stay quite (and annoy some people) that acttually say something which could backfire and pissed off everyone and in the extreme cases lead to court case..

It's the same thing bioware did with the ending of Mass effect three, literally there wasn't any words on the matter until an public event (not sure which one ) where they couldn't refuse to answer menbers of the public qeustions... unlike Beth however Bioware acttually admitted the problem and then fixed it with the dlc, it still isn't perfect but alot better than it was...

Just to promote the Xbox version in general, so Microsoft makes more money.
