Developers can sometimes be geared to use a certain platform as a core development machine, there are many corporate reasons why a certain platform is favoured and unless we are in the industry, exact reasons would be speculative.
Beth seems geared towards XBox, just the way it is.
Just saw this. Well that svcks! Still other companies seem to be able to handle ensuring that their product reaches consumers for different platforms without the same issues that Skyrim seems to be suffering (the folks who were talking about Borderlands 2 are on the money! That game is bananas and they already have out a Pirate add-on with new content as well as a new character class you can download for cash money! I haven't had a problem with B2 yet on my PS3CombatMonster and that includes playing 4 player co-op with my buddies in other countries but its early days and you never know!).
I don't think Bethesda are making an intentionally buggy product but their lack of information and communication with PS3 users on this issue doesn't reflect well on them at all.
I'm still going to buy all the DLC when it comes out! See how optimistic I am!
