and you're comparing a modded Khajiit to a un modded Pandaren.

Actually it's not a modded Khajiit. The lighting is modded though. Let's face it, not even ENB could make the Pandas look intimidating.

To each their own. WoW might have rubbed a lot of gamers the wrong way over the years, as it basically redefined what an MMO is all about for many years. I still play it though and sure there are a lot of whiny people in the game; but, umm you might want to open your eyes and look around, they are EVERYWHERE! Look at this forum for instance. You all love this game right? People can't seem to stop complaining about it regardless.

This! ^ It's one thing to release a buggy game and another to just pretend those bugs are the users problem not theirs.

depends on who you ask. the game pretty much destroyed blizzard's good image.

there's 3 developers i have faith in

bethesda game studios, project CD and valve.

blizzard used to be at the top of my list till diablo 3 come with its crappy servers, always online DRM, and RMAH. o well still love SC2 but i thought WOW got boring after BC

You said it was impossible to make them look intimidating, I was agreeing with you.

Countless (hyperbole) people would say otherwise.

Aren't Blizzard on the verge of having legal action taken against them by serveral groups?

I know that, but my point was I never said that they were supposed to look intimidating, just that it can't be done.

Only problem I had with Diablo 3 was the lack of content. I played Diablo 2 for years, but D3 kept my interest for about 2 weeks if even that long. I didn't have any server issues or anything and usually Blizzard fixes bugs and their servers very quickly.

Skyrim has a very simple bug, thieves guild hoods not showing up on vampire characters, that has been in the game since release. However, no fix for it yet, despite 6 patches to the game. Issues like that in Blizzard games get patched very quickly, had shields not showing up in WoW that was fixed about 3 weeks or so after release of Cataclysm.

Annoyed at the 30 day exclusive? Blame the other companies for failing to counter-act an offer. Sony really doesn't give one ... about Skyrim anymore anyway. Microsoft saw an opportunity, and they took it.

*Edit*

Third link was for some reason changing into the second link when I pasted it... but anyway here's the quote from the article;

'In France, the very serious “UFC Que Choisir” organization (focused on protecting consumers of all kinds of products) has received over 1500 complaints in 4 days from gamers about connect-ability issues and has asked Blizzard to have a permanent solution within 15 days and to communicate completely and transparently about problems encountered in due time.
They are also requesting that affected gamers be given damages for troubles they may have had, and, in a much broader but more official manner, are asking the DGCCRF to have a close look at online-only DRMed games and how they work, including economically. They basically feel that it’s wrong to assume that an entire nation (well, at least France) has equal internet quality and reception across its entire territory and hence, online-only seems are harmful for some (many?)'

Also '

the German consumer advocacy group the Federation of Consumer Organizations' is threatening them too.

WoW is frankly dead compared to what it used to be.

I can bet in the next few months after MoP, that the user count will tumble again and Blizzard will be sold.

To me, you guys always seemed like one of us; true lovers of the RPG.

And then they got succesful. I remember the time, in the last century, when EA (or Electronic Arts as they were back in the day) used to be cool. Can you even imagine it? :P

Although this doesn't say anything cleary, but it increases the chances of dawnguard being exclusive for a a bit longer.

Take your rants to Microsoft instead. Perhaps if you get lucky, they'll pay you to shut up as well!

I want my crossbow and my blood thirsty vampire lord!! I want the carnage and destruction of the vampire attacks! I want the follower with actual character than all the other robot npcs!

Yeah I really want to give bethesda money but they are making it really hard with all the games coming out in august.

These threads are great for consolidated venting. I know I feel much better now. I really wish that Bethesda would just say something to let the fans know they give a damn, even if they can't give solid info. (The exclusivity deal may include the 30th day, after all).

Lolz I've never expierienced any bugs with my Skyrim and I've probably played more than all of you, so for all of you crying about bugs, it isn't in everybody's game. Also I play on PS3. Now to be relevant. I think we should just get the DLC today. I say that everyday we tweet on Pete Hines' twitter asking about Dawnguard release details until he says something relevant. Who's with me?
