***Read**** One Time Ability to Reset Skills

You can already travel back in time on consoles. You can travel all the way back to Helgan.. You can even make your character a different race.

Yeah, but I can't go back in time and alter my own past and then return to the future with those alterations.

The game has a built in mechanism for resetting your character's skills and perks. You can even do it as many times as you want to.

It's right there on the launcher, it's called New. It gives you a character that you can build up anyway you want. I think more people should try it.

So the moderators here make snide comments too? Fantastic..

Starting a new game is not the same as the ability to respec skill points. Not by any stretch of imagination.

I don't see why everyone has a problem with this idea. I understand how it could make the game unbalanced, and make certain existing exploits all the more exploitable, but why does that matter? This is a singleplayer game. There's no competitive element here, it's all about the player's enjoyment. If someone gets enjoyment from using an exploit in a singleplayer game, let them do it.

And the level of hypocrisy here is unbelievable. How many of the people here who disagree with implementing a respec option use console commands? It doesn't matter. The fact that there are console commands at all is just as much a game breaker as a respec option would be. And that is to say, it isn't a game breaker. But if one is a game breaker, then the other certainly is too.

Besides, if the option to respec your skill points did become available, at least that would give those of us playing the game on Xbox 360/PS3 the option to do so. An option that, as has already been stated, PC users already have.

I'm surprised its not included. Build experimentation is a large part of my end game, bugger rerolling.Mods will sort it but I get why console players also want it.

This is one point I have to agree with. There isn't any good end-game gold sink.

Ehhh this isn't a MMO, there is no such thing as end-game and gold sinks aren't needed in a single player game.
