Not sure if this has been asked already, but how is the mercantile system in Skyrim? Is gold insanely difficult to get in the first few hours and then practically worthless later on, or is it well balanced?

You said that dragon bones dissapear quickly after slaying them. I swear I've heard todd howard or some other dev claiming that dragon bones will NEVER dissapear outside in Skyrim.

Me to, but it looks like this one did at least... not sure why,

Awesome! Can you test the install issue? I'm worried about it because I won't have xbox live for some time, and not having a patch will let us know for sure if there is a bug. Thanks and if It's too much trouble don't worry about :)

testing install now. i forgot to clear space might take a few minutes, any info on what it improved? and what is the "texture problem" im hearing about ?

Ask away, I will answer what I know :) and remember no spoilers here og spoiler questions...
Why did you receive your game? You are not supposed to get it until the 11th. It has not been released yet. You and the store who sold (Delivered) it to you is breaking the law you are aware correct?

There is a option to change difficultly. I can tell you, most of those guys had to been on easy, cause it's not like that at all. It was very hard to fight a dragon and or enemy on the highest difficulty. This is someone who plays TES on hard mode all the time. Although this one is called "Master" difficulty. Skyrim to me, felt like a very hostile environment opposed to Oblivion.

Sorry I will stop OP. I know this is your thread.

How big are all the small towns (Shor's Stone, Falkreath, Rorickstead etc.)? Are they about the same size as Riverwood?

Plenty of stores in Norway(?) are selling the game early. Chill.

It was someone from GTTV or SPIKE or w/e who said that, no dev.

I don't know why he said that, because the Dragon bones stay forever it seemed. It did respawn when I went into that area where the dragon died. It didn't disappear. Right after it's death though, I didn't stick around to see if it went away...but I came back to the area after many days of wondering around and it was still there. Not in the same location, but it's skeleton body in whole was still there.

The DRM is a contract made between distributor and developer, not a law. :homestar:

No need to add "Chill".
As for Norway...It's not the 11th there yet I believe..

Anyway, I guess certain countries have things worked out. I'm only 2 days away.

Elion seems to be legit. He posted a picture of his game on his facebook page: www.facebook.com/gamesight

It looks like he also created a channel to show off the game on his TV, but Zenimax shut that down pretty quick.

It's supposed to "shorten" load times but there is a rumour going around that if you install it there's a bug, the textures wind up being low res, but it stays high res when you run it off the disc. That's all I know.

Only on page 6 but I had to say:

This is probably the coolest, funniest thread I've read here in a long time. Everyone is so full of joy and excitiement.

Thanks to Elion for all the hard work, and thank you to the Mods for letting the thread stay open.

I don't like installing my games to the HDD, why I guess its a personal choice. I am playing off the CD and the game loads fine and runs great. I don't have the patch either and it seems to run just fine. There were very very minor areas where the texture stayed in ultra low textures. I notice this mainly when I was riding on the horse outside and riding fast. I just went inside and came back out and it was gone. Before I put Skyrim in my drive, I did clear my cache and wiped out all my old saved games. So I was running a fresh clean drive. I don't like clutter on my drives, same goes for my PC. I wipe out my HDD religiously. I have a 2008 Xbox360 and a smaller HDD version. I think it's 20GB. I do plan to update it once I see what is patched, I don't want to update it if it's to solve a HDD loading issue. I don't have that problem.

Stores in several countries have released copies of the game early (and they aren't breaking the law, actually).
