Say no to ghost towns.

In addition, it's supposed to be an expansion of the main game; not an overwrite. As it is, the entire game seems to center around vampires now.

It sounds like this is the case..
I am playing it through with one higher level character now but when I'm done I will switch back to my new low level Mage, I have no intension in even starting the dawnguard quest line with that character until I finish the college of winterhold quests. But if this is going to take over and disrupt me from what I want to do I will simply delete the dlc and maybe think about playing it again later.. Maybe.

Can people start posting what quest path they have taken - vamp or dawnguard.. How far into the quest they are and the frequency of the vampire attacks.
Logic would dictate that if you are a vampire and support them, the attacks would keep happening.. Likewise if you were in the dawnguard and wiped them out (I assume that is what you would eventually do) the attacks would stop.

Can anyone confirm this?
