Ok, after visiting The Gray I'm pretty much a 100% sure it's human flesh. The Grey and the area it is in is really creepy. I never want to go there again.

I think Its pretty much a given its soylent green but hey... As it is not costing me anything to add my 2 caps .. I am thinking its kinda of the scrap parts like small Intestine, stomach, lung and Brain ground up hence its not outright called Human flesh... Kind of the cast off bits in most countries that do not eat Tripe or sweetmeats heh.

As a side note the shakes is real, eating human brain is a no go heh heh no matter what zombies say its not good for you.

In this case that's the only type of argument that will work since Strange Meat exists solely in a fictional setting. Unless J.E. Sawyer or another dev comes on here and states that Strange Meat is human meat or something else, we are left to our own devices to determine what it is.

Also, that article you linked is good evidence for why any reputable school doesn't allow their students to cite Wikipedia

I actually tried posting a thread directly to J.E. Sawyer, in an attempt to get him to answer the one time I saw that he was online in this forum - but the ^&$@$&$^$$%@( mods locked and removed my thread because it had a link to another thread about the discussion of Strange Meat - so that made it "spam". The mod said that I should pm (private message) Sawyer to get an answer... righttttt........ roflol (for a long time too!)

But then, as a test, I actually sent a pm to J.E. Sawyer on Nov 23 - he has not even read it yet, to say nothing of responding. I'm gonna wait another few days, then send a pm to the mod (the one who locked and deleted my thread and then suggested I pm to Sawyer)

So, this poll was the next best choice

Strange meat is meant to be human. But it shows up in strange places in FNV, which makes think it is not human or some weird design thing.

What strange places does it show up at? The NCR barracks seems normal to me. Say your a cannibal and can't stop your cravings. After you slaughter some Legion, you save some meaty bits for later. Saving it in the fridge, if the others don't know where it came from, none are the wiser.

Anywhere I see Strange Meat in a residence, it's an automatic that someone (or everyone, but doubtful) is a cannibal. It's too bad that the Cannibal perk doesn't allow you to exactly pinpoint those individuals down.

Section 8 refers to a category of discharge in the USA army means your crazy and you would be booted out, undesirable discharge. They don't use it anymore.

Honestly, I never knew there was ever any doubt until I saw this poll. It seems pretty obvious to me that it's human flesh. I sure don't know what else it would be.
