Subway trademarks the word "Footlong"

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 9:24 am

Uh, I think that one's been done...

I've trademarked already doing something I do so it better not have been done.

'I-can't-believe-it's-not-a-footlong'TM © ® Sub sandwich!!! <-- I'm claiming this one, just to be safe :D

To trademark already doing something you are already doing require you to define the actions you are doing, for when you are doing them as they are to have been done when you are to have did them..
Headache time...

No, I don't think I pulled it off either.

I don't see a problem with Subway doing this. Corporations can do anything they want.

As far as to assertain whether anyone has ultimately decided to use even go as pertaining to what it may resemble in the looking more like aspect, I would have to say without a shadow of a doubt, maybe?

..and, I don't think I pulled this one off either. :(
Still trying though :D

I was going to say something about this putting extra financial strain on our already unstable porm industry, damn it.

You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.

Did anyone actually make sandwiches called "footlongs" before Subway anyway?

I thought you were quite quick.

Anyway, boycott subway? Or no? =/

I've been boycotting Subway ever since I smelled the place. [censored] awful, makes me feel sick.

Don't really see a problem with it honestly. Who cares?
When do you ever use the term "footlong" anyway? Besides when you're at Subway?

I've heard of the term "footlong" to describe a sub sandwich my entire life. I hate to see this kind of trademark ridiculousness, so they just lost a customer.

Hah, this thread is great.

Anyway, I really don't care about this. I've only ever seen Subway use the term footlong.

I'm very annoyed at the local Subway cause they stopped to sell meatball subways about half a year ago, and those were awesome <_<

Really? I went there last weekend, and they still sold meatball subways, which were fantastic.

In which case they probably wont be successful? This is only a potential trademark, not an actual one yet...
