Also, to get a sticky we need to PM Gstaff!

I did it already, but suggest people that support this thread do as well!

Can someone give me some advice on how to sort out the Levelling section?

All of the sources I have that talk about this "weapon levelling" system word it completely differently. One mentions I can level up my weapons. Another says it's my weapon talents/skills that levels up... I have 6 sources and they're all 50/50 split

Should I make spoilers with 2 different variations of the levelling system (Which is known as morphing)? Or should I only use the sources from the pre-alphas or developers?

Halp

Edit: Maybe I should just man-mode it and take a 50/50 shot...

Nice new info man, nice. What I'm left to wonder is, with this morphing, how will they ever keep balance? It's such a sick idea, but it sounds ridiculously hard to keep balanced.

I presume, the morphing skill tree will have levels of some sort.

So level 1 morphs allow this, and level 2 allow you to do that. And you can only invest 1 point per level. So if you're branching in the healing pool, you'll never be able to suddenly switch into the heavy DPS side of the tree, unless you do a full respec. I'm trying to think of a game with a mechanic similar to this...

Hey, i have a suggestion. I've been following this for a bit, but with SO MUCH info you've slammed into the OP, its difficult to cherry pick out the new details.

Perhaps you could call more attention to the new info in a section by dating when specific sections are updated. Then perhaps (and maybe a better a suggestion) would be to highlight the new info. That way people dont have to re-read the same blob to get that one little new slice of goodness. This is mostly because of the way i've noticed you slice in info to put it where it best fits (rather than just go bullet style).

Just a thought.

Guild leveling and bonuses make me ill thinking about.

It's going to be WoW guild leveling all over again. Join the highest level guild you can stomach or you lose out.

I want to bump this thread up because it's falling under a pile of less useful threads so yeah. Bump! Can this get a sticky? It deserves a sticky.

Gstaff responded to me and said to ping JoBurba, as he is the community lead for ESO.

Great post, amazing job of gathering all the information.

loved this quote:

"We then pvssyd a bit about the progression model for the game, and Paul said that even since we visited the studio in October a lot has changed. They're really focused on making sure that every single player can build the character of their dreams, and that even when one hits the level cap of 50, you're still only about 1/3 of the way towards fully developing your character. Once at the cap, the game becomes about broadening your horizons and lateral progression: making your character as diverse and capable of handling all comers and any situation. Achievers and will love this game, according to Paul."

at cap only 1/3 of the way through developing character makes me very happy!!!

Great stuff, hope this gets stickied

Still hoping to get much more official info about crafting though. This is really something I hope will get big in ESO.

Just giving it a bump before this thread is lost.

Nice work! It deserves to be sticky and must-read for the newcomers. It will help mods as people will not open new same threads again and again .
