if you have a lastFM account, send me a request. And if you are interested in joining an extremely un-PC metal forum for fans who are more interested in music than anything else, PM me. just make sure to bring your flame retardant. Feelings are not welcome there and nobody is ever banned.
Which forum would this be out of interest?

And whoa, what a rampage. I'm not the biggest black metal fan but for what little my opinion counts on the subject I don't think 90% of black bands are seriously in league with satan, sure there will be some that mean what they sing about but that's just the way it is and you get that in other forms of music

Black metal is just an art form and the stories within the music are just that, stories imo. I watched a film called Transformers once and guess what I don't believe cars can transform into robots and neither do I believe there is a war between machines..... get what I mean, it's just entertainment the same can be said of black metal

I can't think of any other description than total disaster.

Anyone into folk/viking metal?
Me. If it's Finnish and not Moonsorrow, there a big chance I don't favour it though.
So, um. Metal. Yeah. Metal.

Haven't been here in a while.

Anyone have any good black metal (especially the depressing, moody, atmospheric type.. and this new stuff, too, the hipster stuff or whatever)?
So I've noticed.
Loads, depends on what you want actually. Gris, Sombres Forêts, Woods of desolation, Austere...
I think there's far worse things than hipster metal. Checkin out Deafheaven at the moment actually.. Not too shabby
I agree up until now.

I'm returning to my Electric Wizard now.

@ Septiego

I think this is the 104829th time I've mentioned him (apologies), but check out Murmuure.. Sounds like it's probably exactly what you're looking for.. If you don't already know him

Metalheads are still cute when they're angry.

Really though, you're all ridiculous (apart from those of you that aren't).

And Metallica have always svcked.

Well, to be honest, I do kind of like Ride the Lightning. At least I have the decency to feel guilty about it though.

Unjustifiable misquotes aside, it's okay I guess.

No Horrorscope or Legacy, though...

Horrorscope is great but years of decay imo is equally as good if not a little better, I think because YoD has a little bit more variety in the songs overall. I agree about legacy pure class

The misquote was my attempt at humor

Yeah I think Years of Decay is probably my favourite too actually, but both are better than Ride the Lightning :P

Meh, I've come to the conclusion that I don't like much thrash anyway...
