We'll be celebrating the Jan 18 SOPA Protests somehow. Working on figuring out a method that's more fun than not letting anyone play.

I think we're going to go with @jeb_'s suggestion of just making Minecraft free to play all day the 18th.

We'll be posting official news about this as soon as it's decided.

Decided. We'll silently take down http://www.minecraft.net and http://mojang.com on the 18th in protest of SOPA.

Ok, I guess we're taking it down "loudly". I meant without doing any twists to it. Just plain protests. #nitpickers

Yeah, it's pretty unimagineable. Although I find it hard to imagine what nothing is like.

Actually, the server handles the blast very well from what I've seen. There's a 3-6 second delay upon ignition/physical damage, but it doesnt lag the server itself from what I've seen.
