I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but has there been any word on SLI support?

I have 2x GTX 460 1GB cards. I'm sure I'll be fine on one card, but of course I could push it that much farther with both of them.

Most games support it (at least within the first week), but RAGE never did, so I figured I should prepare myself for the worst, lol.

Thanks, and sorry again if it's already been asked.

How critical is RAM and CPU for Skyrim? My specs are pretty outdated:

RAM: 2gb DDR-2
GPU: GeForce GTS 250 1gig
CPU: AMD Athlon dual core 2.8ghz

As you can see, one of these things is not like the others. I'll have a new PC incoming later in the year, but what are my chances today?

Read two posts above, I just explained exactly the same thing to other person!

They have mentioned something about it but nothing has been confirmed so far, that I know of.

Low to medium...I'm afraid not more than that.

RAM is not critical if you have more than 3Gb DDR2 or 3 doesnt mean too much in terms of gaming.
It is critical if you have only 2 gigs, and all of your background operations suffer during the actual gameplay, so everything has ''hickups''.

That is the WORKSTATION card, that has more processing power but is weak on shader operations etc etc etc...

If you want proper but yet budget card, which will run the game on max settings go with Nvidia GeForce 560Ti or ATI Radeon 6870.

Well, I might just do that.

What do you think, if i take that i5 computer and put a GeForce 560 or 580 in it with 4-6 gigs of RAM... where would I be then?

Ultra for both, a 570 or a 6970 would be a good option under 400 bucks if you dont wanna spend 500 bucks on a 580. The 580 is a beast but its expensive. Also make sure your PSU has the juice to run it.

Ultra 100% for both options.

I know my PC will run Skyrim, but I want to record my playthorugh with Fraps. I am not sure what settings I can expect if I am recording with Fraps the entire time. Any thoughts?

PC:
Phenom II x4 3.0 ghz
4gb Ram
Radeon 5770
I also have two HDD's, one for the game and one dedicated for Fraps.

Would it reasonable to expect Medium settings if I am playing at 720p while recording? I currently can record New Vegas at its highest settings while playing at 1920x1080.

Can a GeForce 9800 GT really run the game at medium-high (its fairly old) even at 1920x1080p? Rest of my PC is at or above recommended specs.

I would say medium settings only, not higher.

Oh man why does my new 560 Ti have to be broken? I cant believe it Im even thinking of waiting for playing the game until I get a new one back but I want to play it so badly. But I want my first hours ingame be perfect and that means with stunning graphics, I payed 800€ for being able to play this game at max...

Wow, a tough one, I had similar PC last week, which died on me.

I think that would be low point medium settings, but ONLY because of the graphics card, with newer card you could easily pull high settings!

Thought I would question the experts here before making a decision. As of right now I have it pre ordered on Xbox 360 but I was wondering if my laptop could handle it. I want it to look and run AT LEAST as fast as my Crapbox could. Here is the specs:

Intel Core i3 350M Processor at 2.26GHz 3MB L3 cache. (Two cores, four threads)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1GB discrete memory Up to 2651 MB HyperMemory
4GB Memory (I plan on updating to 8GB since its only 40 bucks, Was 250 when I bought the laptop)
Max resolution 1366x768. (However I do have an HDMI port with a 1080p TV right next to me. Not sure that matters though)

Here is the complete specs from Microcenter.com

You should reach solid medium settings with that laptop, since you have newer generation CPU, and quite OK GPU.

The resolution is also really low, so I wouldnt bet on it but maybe even high settings on that resolution.

So definitely get this on my laptop over the 360 then? I want the best visual experience over mods or anything else. If I want replay value I will rebuy this game after making my D3 rig.
