1.8 UpdateDragonborn DLC discussion thread #45

Also, is that greenish sky area in part of the trailer Apocrypha? It sure seems like it.

As long as I can take some books from there, I think that would be cool but if not..

Thinking of visiting there does make me excited though, because I've liked Mora since Oblivion due to his nature (mainly because of books, but I also like his appearance as well).

I don't think it, I know it. It had stone walls in Bloodmoon.

Great House Redoran.

So we are seeing stuff from morrowind ? This is awesome man. I didnt get to play Morrowind very much and this is going to be a badass experience. Awesome DLC Trailer, I hope it lacks glitches and bugs

I REALLY hope that we will be able to read some books in Apocrypha and not just leave them around stuck in pillar-like things. It would be a waste of good potential if we could not.

If that's the case, then that place looks quite a bit more wicked than I imagined it. It's definitely far from a civil library with a few ghosts here and there...

you have to realize, the great houses all fled North to Solthsteim. I think we might get a little bit of the northern MW coast

I'm going to put this out here... I do have a BIG feeling that the 3 great houses will return with each their own Bonemold set.

Why you ask? The Bonemold armor (minus the helm) that was shown in the video was Redoran Bonemold Armor. You can tell by the little blue thingy-ma-bob around the neck... So we do know there will be house Redoran of some sort. We also know House Telvanni cause of a Telvanni Tower...

*Keeping fingers crossed for the epic House Hlaalu Spiky Bonemold Armor*

Well there's nothing in the trailer to indicate a House Hlaalu presence, but I can only hope that all the variations of bonemold are present and accounted for.

Yeah of course we are seeing Morrowind stuff! Those buildings are clearly Redoran, there are even some Hlaalu buildings in the backround.
And of course the Telvanni mushroom-settlement.

I hope so, what a tease if not. It would be awesome to go charging into battle, chucking a spear to weaken the enemy that your getting ready to destroy.

Is anybody else hoping for an in-depth lore conversation with Hermaeus Mora? You'd probably leave with more questions than you came, but it would be very interesting.

Yeah, I just watched it in 720p fullscreen lol. You'd think I would have already done this considering I've probably watched the trailer a good thirty or forty times  (was writing an anolysis of it for another site).

I'm still assuming it is Miraak for now.

Well, it is a daedric realm though.. a lot of the daedric princes aren't exactly very friendly while only a few of them are. The lore also says that the books in his realm don't have covers (or titles, whichever) so until you open them you have no idea what they're about, which is one reason I find it an intriguing place.

I think his name will be Miraak, considering there is a Temple of Miraak in the 1.8 files

The name "Miraak" makes more sense than "Konahrik" in the dragon language, but it would be cool to see an explanation.

Velothi Towers didn't came in box form, did they?
And the Temple architecture of Vivec City looked different.
Those two buildings in the backround look just like the ones in Balmora.

It's definitely more likely. Although a little treason in the main dragon ranks couldn't hurt.

What if we get to take the ship to Solstheim from the city of Blacklight, in Morrowind? That would explain that place with the giant mushrooms we saw in the trailer, given there looks like that.

What I have to wonder would be how a Dragon Priest discovered that he is a Dragonborn. He would have had to kill one of the very beings he worships. Unless he was told he was Dragonborn before hand, and ceased worshiping afterwards. There could be many reasons I suppose.
