I hope it's OK that I anolyzed the elven briastplate, saw it was enchanted (but with what he doesn't know yet, even if your elf doesn't know it himself, the enchantment doesn't need to be anything special or game-breaking, a smile feather enchantment would make it slightly lighter, etc), and pointed out how poor protection it offers if a rock manages to damage it.

The biggest thing is shimmermist mine, which is currently investigated by a highly away-from-keyboard mercenary group, and the daedric bet.

The town is still being populated by the first wave or so of skilled immigrants, so really there isn't that much to know.

It'd be great to have you on board. Just post your CS here and I'll give it a look. One bit of advise I'd give is its a good idea to have a job in the town in mind for your character. For instance, Gorbad RPs our blacksmith, we have a Captain of the Guard who will be selected soon, a Court Mage, an innkeeper, etc. We do have a shop keeper, but he has been away for a while. Town could always do with more merchants. Or anything really you can think of

We even have a Thalmor Justicar attached to Valton, causing trouble! So you're character doesn't even need to necessarily be useful

I need to give Tom a PM about that. One thing to keep in mind is he is Australian, so even when he is online, it is at unexpected times, and he is always standing upside-down. And Lizard Wizard...yeah. I'm not sure what happened to him. I think he was eaten by a dragon or something.

I think this is closer to the truth. "Blood of Dagoth Ur" could be an anarchonism from when Red Mountain/Vvardenfell was called Dagoth Ur, referring to Ebony mined specifically from that mountain. Ebony is also found elsewhere.

@yes man ftw: You'll have to put a date on when that writ of assassination took place otherwise i won't be able to respond properly. he has worked as a royal guard until the 3E420 or something like that I don't have an exact date but that should be it, kind of. after that he never entered morrowind again until the Red Year passed. he then travelled to morrowind a few times but not enough to get into its politics and to really know everything that is happening there. he also didn't care for it anymore and instead he tried to help the local people rebuilt there cities and towns until he was chased down again by the royal guard.
