Valton: The New Hold OOC and Sign-up thread #4

Arghh, but he would work so well with this RP!

Besides, he would be much better suited for combat than my meek nord. Also, I'm trying to have him focus on the other characters I have been ignoring.

So instead of talking with Reach-women, Orismer Blacksmiths, nvde Khajiit's, and pyscopaths of Justicars, he would likely be talking with Nurmaon, Jal Wolves Bane, etc.
I think Nellis would start getting along with the others more once establishment gets down - We have enough warriors, and if competition tries heating up too much, Tsavani might suggest a "Game" that involves thinning the number of sellswords, warriors, and adventurers through liberal application of the Spear of Bitter Mercy.

What I was thinking for Dwemol is having him only stopping in the town for a few days. Then when the Dwarven ruins are discovered, have him take a interest, and start examing.

Of course, that might not be for a few RP days. Which in real time, could be weeks.

We have plenty of other characters who'd be interested in the Dwemer Ruins.

Really? Then I hope my guy would not be one of the crowd.

By the way, which characters would be interested? Just curious.

Well, Nels wants to mine in it. The Blacksmith, The Khajiit and the guy giving her training are going to take a look at it because the mercenaries didn't come back and maybe they'll take a few guards with them, together with the captain (or not.)
sorry, can't recall names for the moment.

At this point we have no idea that there is a Dwarven ruin in there. I believe in the last OOC thread we had, everyone agreed to to there being a Dwarven ruin much deeper down.

Come to think of it, Gorbad might have a point. Nellis' mundanity is rather his charm, and really a smaller group of developed characters is better. You are free to make as many characters as you want, Kalamari, though I have to say I probably agree with Gorbad here.

I'm not sure if Fiona Barrow-Heart (Oh god why didn't I call her Feona Barrowhart like I have in every RP since?) would be up for the mine expedition. Probably not, though I'm sure she'd be invaulable. While not a wiz at combat, she is a pretty powerful support character, as you can imagine.

This is correct.

Still, I really don't think you should make another character. Focus on nellis, you have infinite possibility with his "curse". The cure might be found within the dwemer ruin or something. This isn't a war-RP so you don't need to know how to fight. And if you do, Nellis can be trained into slowly becoming an able swords-man, with time.

Alright, you guys convinced me.

I just wish I could get out of this conversation with Valramo. Thinking of just having Valramo ignore that, and just have Nellis walk off.

Hey uhh, Gavril, Sargon was already downstairs when he woke, doing his little prayers and whatnot. Maybe if you could just edit the post about asking Sargon for breakfast, while sitting by the fire-pit. Hate to be nit-picky, but its SO important to read thoroughly other people's posts... especially mine, as they can get confusing sometimes... gotta work on that.
