Watch the Dead Money DLC trailer

Anyway, so a specific on what I like: that the casino is on top of the hill.
It looks very cartoonish but still somehow fits in with it's whole "scary" atmosphere.

What I'm afraid will svck: Those hologram things. Remember the alien robots in Zeta? The one's that were slow as hell and could barely hit you? Yeah, I'm thinking those holograms will be like that. Clunky as [censored].

I think I know one reason we're stripped off our items: cause they didn't want to do any level scaling, so by presenting the same set leveled enemies every time with weapons that can "just about kill them" it'll be "balanced".... Or the enemies are easy as [censored]. :(

That brings up another point, if they are holograms then we won't be able to loot them which means less unique loot?! Oh no! I hope there will be plenty of new armor and weapons...especially armor....my character is a slave to fashion. ie whats the point of fighting if you can't look good doing it!

Do we have to leave all our companions behind again?

Also, if not, can we bring Veronica along for some "What the hell?" at Elijah?

I won't let this clever question sink and will ask the same .

While I am not a fan of losing my gear or getting an explody (yeah yeah whatever) collar, I'm still getting this on the 21st!

If that guy really is Elijah (why does everybody think that's the case though?) then I'm guessing there's a weapon in that vault.

I'm not gonna lie, this dlc actually looks good. I would actually buy this without it being tied to a GOTY edition. Hope they don't hold off on releasing it to every platform for too long.

BTW who is developing the dlc? Bethesda or Obsidian?

This looks INCREDIBLE, a heist team made up of a super mutant, a bold chick, a ghoul, and the Courier... I am [censored] pissed that it's an XBOX 360 exclusive, even if it's for a short period of time... I'm sure you can wait a month or two to release a DLC just not to get your PC and PS3 playing fans pissed!

Joke answer: MCA is doing everything by himself but since he's humble he'll credit the rest of the Obsidian team too.

Laconic answer: Obsidian.

Long answer: Obsidian is in charge of developing the post-release content too.

That... looks a lot more interesting than I thought it was going to be. Here's to hoping the exclusivity deal doesn't last long.

The only thing content-wise that I really, really hope for is that they've had Felicia Day record more lines for Veronica. Or, at least had some recorded in advance, since she did foreshadow this DLC's plot afterall. Given all the attention to companions in this game, it would be pretty jarring to pretend we had nothing to add to Veronica's discussion about the most prominent person in her life.

That's quite obvious since he's basically just an old scientist.

I'm excited for the new content, hell, still working on the main game.

But,

I wonder if this is gonna be one long dungeon crawl with little to no open world exploration. Something along the lines of the Pitt?

Those holograms will probably be un-damageable and will be necessary to run past or destroy the source.

And yea, i assume the story will be Elijah kidnapping you to make you open the vault for him. What's in the vault? who knows? hopefully something good

I'm probably the only one not impressed by the trailer. The idea of the DLC sounds cool, but it seems like just a small FPS questpack. Who knows, though, maybe it surprises.

I'm kinda glad the XBoxers get to "review" it, so I don't get the urge to buy a (possible) pig in a poke.
