I was really looking forward to an Area 51 based DLC or perhaps something based around the WWII nuclear test sites. I suppose its good that those two concepts aren't the first DLC as the first DLC for gamesas games tend to be "meh" at best and no where near worth the $10 asking price. Hopefully Dead Money will be worthwhile, but I'm not holding my breath. We'll just have to wait and see.

Lets see I saw a gun that resembles the light machine gun, or the M60 from the older fallouts, and perhaps a pulse rifle?

Hey Bethesda,

Does the money Microsoft gave you to make this exclusive make you feel better about cutting out PC and PS3 users from playing this at the same time as Xbox users? Who cares about doing the right thing when great piles of money are being thrown at you, right?

PS - I'm not getting an XBox to play this.

Reading the movie description on Wikipedia, not that random really.

It's great, Japanese dystopian horror camp, almost as fun as Wild Zero. Definitely check it out. I can't believe I didn't notice the connection until now. That's what forums are for! :D

It looks like another depressing DLC, like The Pitt and Point Lookout. I do want to play Dead Money, but I can't ignore the dreary appearance of this DLC.

Operation: Anchorage was also a timed exclusive, its really not a big deal, it will come out probably in January. Think of the XBOX players as bug testers for us. :P

Interesting... the super mutant has DOG knifed into his chest.
Guess we know what one name is now.

And any reason why a super mutant with a Rebar Club is attacking you in the basemant?
Could it be that DOG betrays you? How sad.

There's a reasonably good chance that MS's money financed this DLC, probably giving Bethesda greater freedom to throw resources at it. There seemed to be very little in that video that was obviously recycled resources.

I was doing some reading on the wiki and apparently someone intentionally had the Abadoned BOS bunker locked. Pretty much Obsidian had Dead Money planned from the start.

It looks decent, but it reminds me of a certian movie. Saw maybe? (I'm not being sarcastic, I've seen a movie very similiar to 'band together to survive and achieve this goal, one dies and you all die." the trailer gives off.

I assume you think DLC is something that you must buy and HAVE to play.... think of it as another section of the sandbox.

People whine that there is not a large enough dungeon and not enough of a horror/suspense feeling to it.... then they make something that fills the niche and people complain that it is what they asked for?
