Lydia and I killed the dragon... then I realized that I couldn't find the kids. I still have no idea where they ran off to. However, in my search, I came across a small pond/hotspring with a naked (in her undies) dead women in it. Nearby were her clothes and stuff. I looked around but couldn't figure out who killed her.
I think you will find a journal nearby that explains why she's dead and/or who killed her. I'm a bit hazy on that issue, but I think her father is looking for her. Or maybe you just come across him and he's wondering where his daughter is. Not sure if it's actually a misc quest right now. I came across her on my first character and that's like 400 hours ago hahahaha.
