Werewolves Thread #3

:tes: Perfect. Can't weit till 11/11/11.
I also think the perspective is not so bad. Also in Morrowind I'd rather have seen over the shoulder. The other option I do not use. Neither in Morrowind, even in Skyrim, if it exists.

My question is thus. If I am a Dunmer and I am a werewolf, will eating Argonians count towards my feeding? Or are the Argos a no go. I am just gonna eat the ones I don't like...lol

I just found out a big spoiler *don't click if you hate spoilers it does ruin a storyline!*
Spoiler
"the circle" in the companions are all werewolves and if you prove yourself they will let you in the circle, it appears they can transform at will!

Sorry if i'm late for the party.

You can transform once per day at will once you become one too, Hiricines ring lets you transform more than once a day

Sounds like Lycanthropy is more like it was in Daggerfall than Bloodmoon

I haven't been keeping up to date with the werewolf situation. All I knew is there is a werewolf quest. However now I see we can actually transform in to one? Great, as if the wait wasn't hard enough.

I found that out from some scumbag who posted it in BLCOK CAPITALS in the General Discussion.

I just hope it doesn't ruin the whole storyline of the Companians and is only one little aspect of it you find out pretty early ( doubtful ).
What do you think?

Edit : Come to think of it, do you really think the companians questline is centered around it? I doubt that too.

Anyone know how long the transformation lasts? Also does it have times where transformation is forced like once a month or something?

Im so happy! I dont have to mod the game to rp my first character!

So far it sounds a lot like the Daggerfall formula: one transformation a day, for 6 hours, a forced transformation on full moons that lasts 24 hours, having to kill someone every 15 days or else suffer a giant penalty

I'm expecting it to mostly be like that, what we know for sure is just

One transformation a day (more with hircine's ring)

No one will give you any links to the pictures. Board rules regarding leaks.
But you'll also find all necessary information with Google. Just search for "Skyrim" and "werewolves". And look at the results of the last 24 hours.

So the werewolf transformations are like in Daggerfall? I want it to be based a lunar cycle where during the month you transform when one moon is full, then a couple of days you change again when the next moon is full, and then a third time when both moons are full and that should be when you can infect other people, if you can do that in the game.

My guess would be they are not happy with first person animations for werewolves, especially since some of the special finishing moves for werewolves have like a throat biting attack and stuff.

Don't be surprised if they get patched in, my guess would be once they are happy with the animations.
What Werewolves have their pwn finishers :woot: this just keeps getting better and better :celebration: is this actually confirmed they have finishers?

Apparently, there will be lots of new werewolf info soon. I've heard from several people that the torrents are really buzzing with Skyrim downloads and people are uploading leaked vids/pics like no tomorrow. I don't condone or support this in any way, as I believe piracy of videogames is the worst kind of piracy. Nonetheless, expect the floodgates to open soon.

I'll just remind everyone once more that posting ANY leaked content in the form of videos, pics or links to either is a SUSPENDABLE and BANNABLE offense. Also, OBVIOUSLY, posting links to torrents is an absolutely bannable offense.

Posting leaked info AS LONG AS YOU USE SPOILER TAGS is okay, FOR THE TIME BEING.

As long as we follow these basic rules, there shouldn't be any interference from the mods.

In the new sounds of Skyrim vid @ 3:40 two companions are speaking,
''I still here the call of the blood''
''We all do, it is our burden to bear but we can overcome''

Thoughts from the video:
Spoiler
Damn, from that video footage it sounds like this "Circle" is a clan of werewolves... like Underworld. The Volkihar Vampires vs The Circle Werewolves??

What video? The one recently released from Betheseda or a leaked one?

I'm guessing leaked. I haven't watched the new Bethesda dev diary yet.

I'll just say this. If I can't become a Werewolf in Skyrim, then I desparately want Werewolved to be included in DLC. They're just awesome!
