In the new sounds of Skyrim vid @ 3:40 two companions are speaking,
''I still here the call of the blood''
''We all do, it is our burden to bear but we can overcome''
Yeah they're members of the circle....

I am sold. Werewolf finishers, free roaming, character customization...immersive gameplay.

"Live another life in another world". Bethesda has not failed, even for werewolf fans!

I wish it was next Thursday already. Midnight release at my local Gamestop, and my husband is taking half a day off work so we can go together to get Skyrim. I'm so excited.

So far it sounds a lot like the Daggerfall formula: one transformation a day, for 6 hours, a forced transformation on full moons that lasts 24 hours, having to kill someone every 15 days or else suffer a giant penalty

I'm expecting it to mostly be like that, what we know for sure is just

One transformation a day (more with hircine's ring)
HELL YES!! Hopefully human abilities like super-strength, speed and resistance to disease!

Check this out. This is what playing as a werewolf in 3rd person view looks like:

Some guy managed to become one.
Delete that for your sake!

That's an excellent find, given that they are really werewolves? Or is there another explanation?

That's the part where I thought they were vampires from the Xplay three minute exclusive preview. But as it turns out, they're members of the Circle, werewolves.

what's all this talk about horses in 3rd person??? In my version of OB I can ride in 1st person. Is the PC version different from the console versions??

also, is anyone prepared for the possibility that the werewolf they saw was for DLC later on and a reason Beth won't discuss it?? I think the game has been finished for some time and that beth has likely been working on DLC for at least a month maybe more.

In Oblivion, horses were 1st and 3rd person. They changed it in Skyrim to 3rd person only. I don't know if they ever gave an official reason why, but my guess is because the 1st person horse riding in Oblivion had the all the smoothness of controlling a World War II era tank.

As for whether or not the werewolves are dlc or in the retail version at launch, it is most definitely confirmed that werewolves are in AT RELEASE. Trust me on this.

That would mean that the DLC is already finished and already leaked, as the footage of the werewolves is from a leaked copy of Skyrim.

The game isn't even out yet and now the DLC gets leaked? I don't think so. I believe werewolves are in the main game.

So transformations are lunar cycles with an option to transform once a day like Daggerfall, right?

I agree with you I'm hoping it is more like Daggerfall than Morrowind.

What's this talk about DLC? Of course werewolves will be in at release. Bethesda didn't even start to think about what the DLCs will be.

From what I've heard you find out about the Circle's secret in like, the second quest, really early on
Are you sure? Because if you are, I will no longer be pissed.

Could someone who "knows" shed some light on this? Thanks.

I'm sure there will be other interactions and quest involving Werebeast besides the Companions. Just as there have been multiple encounters with Vampires in individual previous TES games. They probably will show up in the woods during the full moon at a certain level. With the new A.I. I wouldn't be surprised if we could actually follow villagers into the woods and watch them transform. And then blackmail them.

God I was actually really pissed when I accidentally stumbled across the screens on the TESwiki and then they were spoiled for me.
It would have been so awesome to be surprised by this but nooooo..... :brokencomputer:
