What anime taught me.

Well some anime girl voices are ok, but some are just plain horrible.

The angrier you get, the less clothes you wear.

Well some anime girl voices are ok, but some are just plain horrible.

Most anime girl voices are horrible. There are exceptions, though, like Clannad or Full Metal Panic!

DBZ taught me a lot.

For example-

There is a heaven and a hell
Eating healthy makes you stronger (sensu beans)
Showing mercy can gain you allies
Beer is not for everone (Episode where Goku finds a beer in the spaceship's fridge and instead drinks a sports drink)
Friends and teamwork are important.
Family is important.
Always protect and stand up for your friends.
Hard work and training pays off in the end

ETC!

DBZ taught me a lot.

A positive example! The one thing I did like about DBZ is that the training montages don't consist of 5 minutes or an episode. They drag it out to the point where you really feel like this character is training really, really, really hard. :P

I can appreciate the "good values" that a lot of anime pushes, too. The sap part of me, anyway.

Among what's already been mentioned - I also learned that no matter how much fighting or rain, anime hair stays perfectly perfect everytime.

And that the Japanese sure do know how to do cartoons!

And the hero will always be tossed around for a while and suddenly realize that his friends believe in him and kick the badguys ass. Always.

If the anime centers around women (i.e. 14 year old girls), then there is always a clueless guy there too.
If the anime focuses on men, then machines are most likely involved.

You should always announce what your going to do in a fight.

And when ever you use a special move you must explain it to your enemy.

I learned that every master hardened criminal and villain will go into great detail about their plans if they have ANYONE cornered. Especially the hero that is the only one who can defeat them.

I've learned that nothing can ever too over the top.

You get nosebleeds instead of erections when you're aroused.

Reza Hawkeye and Teacher from Full Metal Alchemist actually sound like women instead of little girls. Can't think of any others but I don't watch much anime.

While definitions you pick up watching anime may be fine, be careful not to pick up any anime grammar unless you want to be considered very rude during initial encounters with someone.

I'm not quite sure what this means, but I doubt I'll learn enough just from watching anime that I'll be able to string any sentences together.
