What anime taught me.

What's wrong with watching Dokuro-chan? Hell, not only have I watched it, I own it on DVD and have a figurine of Sabato.

Unless you're implying Lord Crow meant something else, in which case I think you're overthinking things. Lord Crow is harmless, couldn't even step on a snail.
Watching it is one thing, and I can't say I can see anything much wrong with that. However, LC has given the impression that he has been aroused by it at some point. While I haven't watched it (this is the first I've even heard of it, so I may be wrong), the impression I get of it does not make it seem particularly healthy to be... interested in.

EDIT: "Childish-looking angel is obsessed with boy, frequently kills him in messy ways then reviving him" doesn't sound like it provides much of a basis for (healthy) erotica.

You have much to learn about otaku culture, young Padawan, before a proper explanation to why you got that impression can be given, and I think that's a rabbit hole you are better off not going down. It's not for the uninitiated.

Not obsessed with him, she's his "guardian" angel (for lack of a better descriptor)

Looks like you haven't been to the dark part of the Internet yet. Good luck and Godspeed.

I learned that in the middle of interesting battles, characters like to just break off and have little discussions instead of getting down to [censored] killing each other! Makes me mad every time.

I heard once you hit thirty you become a mage...
Wizard or Catmacer, depending on gender.

I have learned I spend too much time on the internet.

Anime taught me, if a girl acts likea [censored] too me, it means she loves me. If only I knew this in highschool.

Anime taught me you don't need good animation skills to attract tons of people

You just need big, ridiculous boobs, slants for eyes, make the characters look like they are five, and make them flap their mouths up and down to say even the dandiest things.

As you can tell, I hate anime

EDIT: don't forget the cat ears! Can't forget those! Even on the dogs!

Lol don't forget the massively exaggerated emotions shown on the face since the characters themselves are (mostly) too shallow to express it themselves. Very few good animes out there.

Which anime have you seen that has those characteristics? They're not all like that you know, hardly any of the ones that I've seen.

And those huge tear drop shapes on the side of their face when they sigh! Good golly!

I have often seen such crap totally ruin moments which otherwise might have been considered deep. Really, do they draw the show first, get high and then insert this stuff at random moments or what?

Up and down mouth?

I'm just saying, anime isn't as specific as you seem to think it is. There are many different genres, so it's pretty silly to judge it on the few kid's anime you've probably seen on TV.

Also, such awesome and serious (maybe even historically accurate ) anime could be made relating to Japan's rich medieval history, but then everybody finds demented pirates, bogus alchemy and depressed teens SO much more interesting.
Meh, I suppose Akira Kurosawa movies will have to suffice.

Link me to a short YouTube video of one of your favorite animes.

I'll give it some thought and write what I think about it in a short paragraph or two.

My expertise on anime/manga is quite limited too. Here is what I've read/seen:

Spirited Away
One Piece
Sgt. Frog
Bobo-Bobobobo (waste of time, don't watch it)
Howl's Moving Castle
Some episodes of Dragonball Z
Inuyasha
Yu-Gi-Oh
Super Mario Bros. Super Show
Pokemon
Burst Angel
And I can't remember the name of it offhand, but I believe it is a movie based on a series named "Ghost in the Shell"

I'm not really that much into anime tbh, I like to stick to 1960's cartoons and the stuff they show on FOX nowadays for my cartoon fix.

You think anime is weird ?.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKeDyb7uFN8 I dont speak Japanese, but I doubt it would make sense, even if I did. There are a few other scenes, each as confusing.

There are things I dont now the source of, like some Japanese chick shooting a guy with a gatling gun... That comes out of her ass.
Japan isnt boring thats for sure.
