I don't see the point in getting the GOTY, I mean unless you just want it as a collectors thing which I totally support and understand

Must say I really like it so far! Only letdown is the vampire lord form; I hate third person view and the transformation whilst looking cool takes too much time(enemies hitting you during transforming ugh).
This!

^ it is light armor. I think it is great so far. having lots of fun with vampiric grip. the only thing that bothers me is that the vamp lord sometimes gets stuck in tight areas and can't loot things.

I saw those Dawnguard armored dogs, those were hilarious.

As for my opinion, I think this is a great DLC, easily worth $20. A couple annoyances aside, this is a great add-on.

I hate to ask this, but but I generally play as an unarmored mage. Are there any new robes my archmage can wear, and if so are the enchantments worthwhile?

I have only played it for a little while, but so far I like it. And the new dawnguard hammer is perhaps my new favorite weapon :D

considering the vampire and werewolf content in Morrowind/Bloodmoon were my favorite parts of that game and the dissapointment that came with such lacking references in Oblivion, this is the best Elder Scrolls content I have played in a long time.

The dawnguard have their own hammer and axe, not too sure if they have other weapons (crossbows aside).
And their armor is really awesome, especially the full helmet and shield.

I seem to be in tth minority. For the hour it worked i loved the gothic, dark feel but then i started getting framerate dips and then skyrim wouldnt load. I cant play. If it works it seems like great.dlc but for me its awful and i cant do anything due to stu k loading screens
