Dawnguard is larger than KOTN and has more features. SI was an expansion, this is considered the first DLC. IMO Shivering Isles was better, but it... was... an... expansion. For first DLC Dawnguard seems very solid to me, and sets a good bar for future Skyrim additional content.
Which people don't seem to grasp.
SI was going to be priced at $40. Bethesda decided to throw us a bone.
Dawnguard, as I stated in another thread, is a high valued DLC. Basically, an add-on. It has 20-30 hours of story line. That's not including all the features it came with, and all the content it came with.
Most 1200-1600msp games hardly last 8-9 hours. And they are linear as all get out. No replay value whatsoever; unless there's multiplayer. Some have the whole new game + mode...but that just adds about 3-4 more hours, as you already know what to do/have all your items.
I have no idea what the complaining is about. YOu want it at 1200msp? Sounds like you want a bargain if you ask me. The last 1200 point game I bought was Shadow Complex. 100% that and all the achievements in 14 hours. Didn't even come close to how much Dawngaurd has as far as content.
And Shadow Complex was considered a great deal!
