What does "Milk-Drinker" actually mean?

Still svckling from your mother's [censored] or in other words- a child.

Or at least this is how I interpreted it. Seems pretty sure to be right.

It's a reference to a hard-drinking culture where men prove how macho they are by drinking more or stronger alcohol.

It's either real men Drink Mead (And get their calcium from Cheese), or they're calling you a baby - some people use the phrase in the context that makes it clear they think you're an infant.

In Skyrim, everyone is lactose intolerant, and they're all jealous of you because you're not.

People always make fun of the person who's different...

That would explain the vulgar and copious amounts of cheese strewn across the lands. No one is eating it!

I don't see how it's an insult. I wish my mother still briast fed me. We never bond anymore. Plus it's incredibly nutritious. It's free too, so that's one less cow to milk.

You sir, are sigged :D

They used to be a milk-drinker like you, then they took lactose intolerance to the digestive system.

I Think that's one of the funnier one liners. But then again no matter who the NPC is I alway's hear that line in a western twang, bar room brawl happens.

Milk-drinkers are usually young people who haven't yet proven themselves to be a real man.

It doesn't make any sense when they call my Argonian a milk-drinker. First of all, Argonians are not briastfed as youth. The entire race probably doesn't have the necessary digestive abilities to even process milk properly. I would doubt a lactose-intolerant lizard would drink milk. Stupid insult used by stupid Nords.

"Milk-drinker"

The absolute worst insult someone can give in the land called "Skyrim". The equivalent is looking at someone while pointing to your sandal in the Middle-East. Or flicking four fingers under your chin in Italy. Or telling someone that they're "Number 1" in New York or in London.

Shame on you if a Nord bestows upon you these words of extreme hatred.

They consider milk drinkers to be wussies while they only drink alcohol.

Let's see YOU drinking 3 liters of milk and not running straight to the toilet for a loud session!

It's either real men Drink Mead (And get their calcium from Cheese), or they're calling you a baby - some people use the phrase in the context that makes it clear they think you're an infant.

The nitpicker in me insists that I must point out that one can get all the calcium required from a normal diet that includes no dairy at all.
In fact, the enzym that allows advlts to digest dairy is a relatively new feature, evolutionary speaking. It has not spread across the entire populace yet.
Many Asians and Africans are lactose intolerant and the habit of consuming dairy products is really only prevalent among western cultures.

The idea that milk is needed or good for you probably comes from decades of commercials payed for by the dairy industry to promote the use of their products. These are often given an 'official' shade by getting endorsemants from various government agencies that have very much to gain themselves from selling more milk.

Some people claim that dairy is in fact bad for you when you are no longer an infant, and that idea has some merits. Lactose is still a foreign substance to the body, and dairy stimulates the production of mucus.
Some people who have completely quit dairy claim it gives them better overall health, skin tone, healthy hair and less brittle nails.
I have not tried this myself as I cannot live without cheese (I never met a cheese I didnt like.)

Of course, in moderation it remains a good source of certain vitamins and minerals.

Still, the moral I suppose is that you really shouldnt believe everything you are told by those in authority.

*Takes off nitpickers hat*

Imagine walking into a bar with a lot of big, smelly bearded men (and women?) drinking hard liquor and mead and swearing. And you order a glass of milk.

"Who is Number 1"

"You are Number 6"

"I am not a Number, I'm a free man!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

They are ambiguously implying that you're a briast-fed child.

If you want to make it really interesting, take a shot everytime you're called a "milk drinker".
Ha, this is an awesome idea.

More nitpickery. Seems a bit odd that argonian females have briasts then.

Devs have stated that they're ovoviviparous and only lay eggs in Black Marsh. Outside of that they give live birth.
