WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET A RESPONSE FROM BETHESDA?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 1:46 pm

THE QUEST BREAKING BUGS SHOULDN'T BE IN THE DAMN GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHAT DO YOU BETHESDA DEFENSE FORCE FAN BOYS NOT UNDERSTAND!!!!!!

Oh okay. That I don't defend. Haven't run into that kinda problem yet either, so. Well, that's a bad thing. But texture-wise and stuff I don't hate on

I would say it's a minority of people being affected by these quest/game breaking bugs. That's why it's not a major issue.

So stop crying. Go buy yourself a new copy and keep quiet.

It's not, there's a poll on the forum and a vast majority of people are having the problem. If you care so much how about you buy me a new copy? Seriously some of the responses in this thread are so laugh worthy. It has nothing to do with the disk. We have the right to complain about something like this so it doesn't happen again. Remember to keep the volume down when you're playing though. Wouldn't want to keep your mommy and daddy up.

i really dont understand peoples logic. So according to some people only a small percent are experiencing bugs, texture issues and so do not have a right to complain? We are just trying to make the game better for everyone asking for a patch.

What? What are you talking about? Should they be talking to us for some reason?

They should be acknowledging that the text is unreadable on a standard television.

This stuff is probably going to get this thread locked and deleted which is the last thing we want right now. We need as many topics about this problem with as many pages as possible on the forums. Our voices must be heard and if we resort to threats of violence this entire thread will be locked WE DO NOT WANT THAT. Let's all calm down and remember it was Bethesda who released this game, not the guy on the forum who is defending them.

Let's keep this between the people who are having problems, and Bethesda. To everyone else; If you're enjoying the game as it is. Go and play it because a lot of us are on these forums wishing we could play the game and we can't.

Are you serious? Bethesda already said they are working on it and that it will be avabile in the next title update .I\ They care about their customers, and work very hard to Make such a amazing game. I haven't had any issues whatsoever with the game really, but I knew not to install it thanks to Bethesda .
I
YES I AM [censored] SERIOUS. IF THEY CARED ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS THEY WOULD ADDRESS THE ISSUE CORRECTLY AND NOT LEAVE US IN THE DARK. GROW SOME [censored] BRAINS YOU NEANDERTHAL. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY A GAME IN 2011 THAT LOOKS LIKE ITS FROM 2001 THEN GO AHEAD I AM MOST DISAPPOINTED IN THEM!

I think you find they have our money, so why do they care? The skyrim launch has been a disgrace and has svcked all my enthusiasm away. Such a buggy game, broken quests are more important than the texture issue though. NEVER BUY A BETHESDA GAME ON RELEASE AGAIN. EVER!

The rest of the world seems to disagree with you: http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/all/xbox360?view=condensed&sort=desc

Bethesda will fix the issues eventually. Go buy a new copy and piss off.

Hopefully on Monday we'll hear more from Bethesda about this issue and a few others. What's annoying about this situation is despite all the activity going on in the forums and over the net, Bethesda believes for some odd reason that releasing vague one-liners such as "we're looking into it, but it doesn't relate to installing" (as read directly from their twitter) is more than enough information and should completely quell the current commotion & answer everyone's questions.

Scouring the forums I've read dozens of threads reporting the texture bug and a few others, most of them containing pretty concise bug reports. I'm not asking the developers at Bethesda to fix all game issues ASAP, I would just like to see better communication on their part, especially regarding the current status of bugs they're investigating for each platform, and adequate information about what they believe may be causing them.

All people want here in the forums is information, and Bethesda's silence is just adding fuel to the fire.

You tell him mate. I dunno where these Bethesda's Defense Force was educated but they seem happy to be sold a broken game but continue to worship them like dogs, i guess they like that sixual stuff where the woman beats them etc..

Okay seriously. Getting this entire thread deleted is going to set us back. Let people be content with a sub par offering from Bethesda. We however will not and we have every right to let them know it. Let's keep doing that. Bashing random user #3701 is pointless and really will only give moderators an excuse to lock this thread.

Hey, remember that time that Bethesda released a game that a vast amount of people found completely unplayable for various reason? Yeah...

Couldn't agree more. I think all of us could just leave this be if Bethesda just acknowledged the problem properly and gave us a vague idea of when to expect an update. Also, their solution of letting the system cache fill up seems to be completely false. I know people who have been playing from the disk for 10+ hours and still have the texture problem. Fortunately for me I stopped playing once I realised the game was unfinished and haven't really experienced any quest related bugs or the like. Which is what I suggest to anyone who is frustrated with the state of this game. If you're bored and want something to fill the void left by Skyrim, well, Breaking Bad is a really good show.

Someone said earlier, I cant remember who, but they raised a good point. The reason a lot of us are so upset about this is because we LOVE Elder Scrolls and Bethesda. And most of us were really looking forward to playing this game for a very long time. I'm positive most of us are Bethesda fans or else I'd just go buy MW3 like everyone else in the world and play that. But I'm here instead, waiting for Bethesda to acknowledge this and inform us about a game we are all very much looking forward to playing.

Would you prefer them to spend more time replying to silly insignificant complaints rather than spending time fixing bugs. They probably read some of the threads where there's a game breaking problem then eventually they will start with the smaller ones to polish it up a bit more, the game only came out yesterday....

That is near impossible, that would need about 3000 QA testers and at least another two months to completely clear the game of bugs. You guys are insulting people for actually seeing some good in the game and then posting some of the stupidest [censored] ever. Screw this, I'm going to carry on with Skyrim...

THAT is your solution? I'm already upset I gave this company $70 for a game I cant play and you want me to give them another $70? Some of the people on this forum are way to eager to jump to Bethesda's defence. I've been playing these games since Daggerfall. I have a pretty good idea of what launch bugs to expect. I expect a lot of minor bugs, nothing that keeps textures from loading. That's programming 101.

Have you now? Daggefall has game breaking bugs that to this day have not been fixed by Bethesda that were present at launch. Dead Island still has game breaking bugs/glitches that have yet to be addressed. These "game breaking" bugs can, the majority of the time, be fixed by re-loading from an older save slot. Not saying all of them, but most of them. Maybe it's because you paid $10 over MSRP that your copy is jacked up(sarcasm).

Chickensh!t. Is your dad proud of the coward he raised?

Wow, are you just raging b/c you didn't make it in time to pick up a copy of MW3 before it sold out and had to buy Skyrim instead? Cause right now you sound like some 12 year old I would hear over a headset raging cause someone just mopped the floor with them. I mean really grow up, you made your point and no one here besides Zebinia seems to agree with you, so it is time to move on.

No and I am fed up of being Bethesda's unpaid QA tester. You people say all the other games had i accept while we worship them. IT IS WRONG. WE HAVE PAID OUR MONEY AND EXPECT A FULL QUALITY PRODUCT. Not a bugfest unplayable mess. YOU AND YOUR DEFENSE FORCE ARE WRONG TO ACCEPT THIS.

Looking at most of these replies no wonder Bethesda feel so content in releasing a game this buggy to its fans. You lot get what you deserve and I hope you run into a game breaking bug soon and it destroys your console of choice.
I only see bla bla bla.
