What infuriates you?

Actually, vampires don't have eternal life. Last I check, one vampire year is 200 human years (Which is obvious a long time so it can feel like eternal life).

*People who believe that they know everything and that they are always right and are not even open minded enough to consider the possibility that another way could exist.

*People who judge and hate other people based on their own perception of how those other people 'should' be. Allow people to be who they are, not what you think they should be.

*Arrogant, intolerant people.

Wow, really? Damn, must not be deep, thoughtful and intelligent if you like that kind of music. But really, that guy ...

Anywho, things that get on a nerve of mine would be - similarly - how people always think they're right. They'd never see themselves in the wrong, and always try to get others on their side by saying how right they are/how wrong you are. There's this one girl, who's a friend's friend, punched her once (on the arm). Of course, my friend was like "ow", and then that girl was all like,"that didn't even hurt". To get people 'on her side', she started going around being like, "I punched [Friend] like this" and would lightly tap their shoulder, and say how my friend was all 'hurt'.

Watching the X Factor. Having to sit through it as a 'family thing' is just annoying, how does it benefit a family to watch [censored] artists hope to have a great artistic career when everyone has caught on to it now, everyone knows its the most marketable act that wins and I think even the judges have admitted that on the show. The acts go stale after their first album anyway because everyone loses interest unless you're a boyband.

Also, people who go on Britain's Got Talent as a singer. Why? Just go on the X Factor it's the same outcome except you're not taking the place of something good like a dance act or magician.

Cashiers who are completely inept at their job and get rude easily. Those people should know their place.

Personally, I see myself as an intelligent being BUT I see everybody as an intelligent being as well, until proven otherwise... So would I count in that area?

As for the specific person you are talking about... I think he has more ignorance than intelligence (Though still intelligent). Though that only from what you said about this person, so can't say much. (Oh and just to throw it in there; I personally like Nickelback).

This just describes A LOT of people in this world and even explains a lot of problems we have today as a society.

Personally, I like these shows mainly cause they do have some amazing people on it but not always... So I can understand where ye' going at here.

Depends on one's opinion of slow... Personally, I dislike unnecessary slowness.

I'm not always the best person at vocab so I don't recognize the word "inept" but from my assumptions, I can agree partly with you. Cashiers, and anybody really, have no need to be rude at all... But to say they should know their place? I find that being rude as it sounds like you are 'talking down' to them.

Hmm, to be honest it's not really the people on the shows, I admit there have been acts that I like on them it's just the shows themselves.

Obnoxious, loud people. Have a lot of them here. I also don't like how people from my country act overseas. The obnoxious ones I mean, who mainly only drink and go to "Australian style" restaurants...and just keep talking so loudly, without consideration for others.

No, you wouldn't count unless you think you're better than everyone else, and try to worm your "deep thoughts" into unrelated conversations like he does...... over and over and over again.

Yeah, he isn't so much a moron as he is completely clueless about how the real world works :D. I guess he's one of those pseudo-intellectuals, if that's the right term.

One of the things that infuriates me the most is when someone makes an ignorant statement about a topic that I have firsthand experience with. The most recent instance was some ignoramus on facebook that commented on a blog post by a lady with cancer, basically calling her stupid and unhealthy for eating some pizza and marzipan for breakfast. I tore him a new one.

Nah. I personally believe no one is better than another. We are all different in each our own way and that is why I believe so.

Though would like to say, I believe Intelligence and Knowledge are two different things... Someone can be a moron but extremely intelligent while another can be a genius but very unintelligent... Just my opinions though on this specific subject.

People in front of me while driving that insist on going 5-10miles(or less!) below the speed limit. Usually(but not entirely limited to) it's older people, which just makes me hope that when I'm that age I remember how annoyed I was by that, and that I always manage to go the speed limit. It's even worse when their is no passing area nearby, and I'm forced to follow behind them at a crawl, unable to blow my horn because my wife won't let me. LOL

Inconsiderate and ungrateful people.

Reading post on political issues on Yahoo. There's been comments that's gotten my blood boiling and I would LOVE to give these people my two cents---but I realize it's pointless so I don't bother and just think of the old saying "You can lead a horse pony to water but you can't make it drink".

Hm... Kinda like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory? (Maybe not to that EXTREME but ye' know where I'm going at, right?)

Or maybe in Lyra's case... "You can lead a human to water but can't make it drink."

Just about everything having to do with politics.... Even though I am very political and passionate about my own views and ideology, the topic in general irritates me.

Screaming babies.

Bad drivers.

Loud, messy eaters.

When my belt buckle pinches and pulls my little stomach hairs.

... the list goes on and on.

I try not to get infuriated at anything, because anger will just make me weaker. But yeah, bigotted, agressive, persistent, inconsiderate and competitive people agitate me a little, though I wouldn't mind being surrounded by them so as to make me more patient, and to an extent, a better person.

Or maybe I just don't care because those are the only people that exist.

EDIT:
No.

DJ's who talk over a favourite tune with their inane prattle. Ditto continuity announcers talking over a favourite bit of music at the end of a film or show.

Film trailers that you can't skip on DVDs.

TV channels that set program audio levels really low and then have adverts set at the maximum so you have to rush to turn the volume down to avoid upsetting the neighbours.

Cold callers phoning at very awkward times and god botherers knocking on your door just while you're enjoying having a bath.

Loads of other stuff too but it's mostly political so won't get into it here.

- Babies that scream in restaurants while I'm trying to eat

- Car windows that aren't rolled completely down or up

- People that play games on their phones with the sound on

I'm not infuriated by much anymore. I've got a live and let live attitude that has grown over time. If someone is rude to me I generally just let it slide. The two things I'm most intolerant of I guess is if I see someone hitting a child about the head and anything resembling child abuse and when someone uses a knife to remove jelly from my jelly jar. Otherwise, I generally just let things be.

I've reached a point in life where I realize there is little I can do to change others except through kindness and understanding. I'm of the belief we are all products of our upbringing and our experiences in life. So I try to be forgiving of most things and not let my emotions get the best of me.
