What do you feel like is missing from Skyrim?

What lacks in the game are the quests for the typical ''good'' rper.
But almost all nice rewarding quests are evil.

More realistic combat (enemy looks like hes being hit)

Mounted horse combat.

People not talking to me all the time!!!! (okay thats just a pet hate)

More unique weapons and armour to find.

Being able to gamble (play cards with NPC's) it would give you more things to do in towns, and help to roll play, as you only really go into taverns for jobs/purchase items, then you leave.

Id love a backpack as it would suit my nomad character, it could also have a bonus of increasing your carry weight. (never mind where do you put your loot, where does your character put his food/water!

Proper, warmer armour for the enviroment, it really wouldnt be a good idea being half naked or wearing metal in Skyrim's frigid weather.

Select a set of weapons that apear on your character. Sword on your hip, bow and/or shield on your back (sort of like in the LOTR films. it would add to the look of your character. I think it ould look pretty cool

A motorbike!

This game needs to be more mature than anything and should be primary made for a PC and then ported for consoles (sorry console players, but it's the truth).
Also, this game misses a lot of development time.
Skyrim was in development for only 3 years while it should've been in development 5 years instead.
All the bugs, glitches, crashes, sloppiness, weird/bad design choices, crappy quest(line) and more are mostly result of everything I've mentioned above.

Bethesda should revive TES Adventures imo.
From what I get, those series would perfect if made primary for consoles and secondary for a PC.
So basically:
TES --> PC --> Consoles
TES Adventures --> Consoles --> PC

A world would become a much better place then.

I dont even own a PC that would run Skyrim but i agree with you.

I seen how the original xbox was held back by the PS2

I agree about the armor, I would be happy even if I could change the armor color in-game. The glass armor is such a weak color.

optional toggles that actually change the gameplay.

all of the 'hardcoe'-type implementations, such as, degradatation, a fully functioning hud, limited potions, potions over time, no regeneration, etc.

I keep coming back to this thread. First off the MMO better not put an end to releasing the single player versions. Now to improve this game one thing that annoys me is how everywhere you go it's just a mix of everything. You always have a city nearby with some bandits nearby with some cave nearby with some dragon nearby. There should be different areas. An area where cities are built because it's easier to fend off danger. An area where few travel because dragons roost. Maybe a dense forest full a danger that few have explored or a mountainous area where unexplored ruins exist because it's also a ripe breeding ground for trolls. I could go on and on but it's things like this that make the world feel alive and feel real. I'm sure I'll be back with more.
