What's your favorite armor?

Now I use fur, leather and scaled. Love the looks and they feel more at home in Skyrim than full deadric. Looking forward to what looks to be a new light armor type in Dawnguard (the one dragon born uses in most of the clips).

Steel Plate Armor is my favorite heavy armor. For light armor characters, I prefer leather. Why? Because the look realistic.

Heavy armour its gotta be steel plate, it just looks so knightly.
Light armour I go with dragonscale, has that strong yet light feel to it.

Hooded brown robes, shoes, and gloves. Keep it simple and discreet.

I always wear the theives guild armor as soon as I can get it. Linwe's armor and Guild Leader armor are my favorites. I ussually wear all Guild Leader armor with Linwe's hood. I was really dissapointed in the Shrouded armor. It was like wear a spandex skin suit and look rediculous. The Nightingale armor was sort of cool. Escpically the cape and mask, but I don't really like very fantasy looking armors.

Forsworn. Why? Because sadly I think it is the only armor in the entire game that looks good on a female character.
In other words, it's the only armor that's scantily clad.

Hey...........................................that's a good reason.

Really though, I also like the forsworn armor on my ranger build. She blends into the forest quite well.

I find the thieves guild master set to be my favourite because of the powerful thief style enchantments plus I feel like I belong in the thieves guild when I wear it.

My favorite is Elven Armor. It looks Noble and Decorative, yet somewhat realistic and protective. Plus seeing the thalmor wearing it makes it feel so official. Also I'm an elf too ;)

Its not so much the skin exposure but more that everything else makes her look like a 500 lb. tank. Except for the nightingale, db, thieves guild sets which I think are all ugly.

Basic iron, non-banded. I prefer heavy armor, but not one that's too constricting. The lack of paudlrons on iron works well for this. I wish I could remove the pauldrons on some of the other heavy armor chestplates.

I think ancient Nord armor looks really good on females too.

As for my Mage character I use Arch mages robes plus a circlet of choice mostly Diadem. And I enchanted wolf gauntlets and wolf boots they fit the color scheme of the arch mages robes perfectly and look/match well together.

I used to wear Glass, but then I switched to elven on my third play through. I thought it would be a little more awesome for the Thalmor to be taken down a notch by a Breton wearing low-grade Altmer armour and using Elven weapons.

I don't know that it's my favorite, but I end up using Ancient Shrouded Armor a lot.

This.

The Ancient Shrouded Armor has the best enchantments in the game, IMO. It's got a decent Armor Rating (I don't get in stand up fights really at all, I kill things before they know I'm there...), and looks good as far as style goes.

In all, I usually tend to use the ASA with most of my characters.
