I don't know that it's my favorite, but I end up using Ancient Shrouded Armor a lot.

Fur armor, leather, iron and steel. Mostly because they seem most appropriate to adventure in, but a full set of Dwarven+shield looks badass too.

Orcish, as awesome as Daedric looks, I think Orcish armour actually looks more brutal, the sharp edges on the armour and the rough shapes give it so much more character than the Daerdic armour, even if it's not as 'cool' looking. I also really like the Glass armour, such a step up from Oblivion, it actually looks like it can protect you at the same time as being extremely pretty.

Nightingale looks awesome too, I'm just not big on the eyes.

Either Dwarven, because it actually makes me feel heroic, or Guard Chainmail, because it actually makes me feel like a vaguely medieval adventurer-of-all-trees.

Same. Fur, leather, studded, scaled, iron and steel. My last character I only used smithed steel and iron for. I also like thieves guild armor, and nightingale armor. I don't really have a favorite though.

Fur armour for me. Looking at the armour seen in Dawnguard trailers and previews, i'm excited!

I like Steel Plate the most, because it makes me feel the most knightly. I also like Stormcloak armor when I'm wearing heavy armor.

I use the Nightingale armor all the time except I wear the Krosis mask with it, I'm more into the lockpicking and archer skills.

The blades armor looks pretty badass - has an almost "Roman" feel to it. After doing a bit of research i found it was an inspired hybrid of Tatami Japanese and Roman armor.

Definitely Nightingale. It means the only thing that gives my Khajiit away is his big furry tail. You also don't see the fangs under the mask, which I love. (The mask, not the lack of fangs. I'm ambivalent about that.) :disco:

For heavy, its Orcish. It looks tough but it's not over the top. Also, as long as you continue to advance your smithing skill it's the last set of armor you'll need to make. Right now with my smithing at 80 something and with some solid Fortify Smithing potions and gear, my characters armor rating is is 600+ with Orcish. I don't need to worry about chasing down ebony ingots for the next set of armor---or Deadric or Dragonplate.

For light, it's Scaled. Looks good on female characters and I've gotten the armor rating as high as 550+ with it.

If it wasn't so flawed as a model, Ebony.

Otherwise, I'd say I like the Guard armor. Something about closed helms is just cool to me.

Blades armor, because its got that awesome unique perfectly balanced look of Roman and Japanese armor. I like steel plate a lot as well, but i wish the helmet was more open faced. I dont see how you could shout through a steel plate in front of your mouth if a cloth gag was all it took to keep ulfric quiet.
