Lots of these threads exist, but I always love commenting in them anyway.

For me, it's the basic armors that I love the most.

Studded, Scaled, Iron, Banded, Steel Plate.

Thieves Guild armors (Master Black, Linwe's Grey and Recruit's Browns) as well as the Nightingale Armor are all nice. It's just a pity they're "Faction Locked".

That's not to say I don't like some of the more "Noble" armors, Ebony and Elven in particular looks like really nice "High Nobility" armors. The kind of stuff you'd see a Hlaalu or Firsthold Noble ride into battle wearing.

I really like the Dawnguard Armors too. The Heavy Brigadine (I hope it's light armor, though I doubt it) in particular is really nice. Of course, the big stand-out is Harkon's Armor, I will be utterly destroyed if we can't wear it.

At first it was Daedric Armor for me.. then I got a mod that let me have an upgrade to Daedric Armor which is a different set altogether with a more reddish color, and it costs more daedra hearts but is well worth it.

I would use the light armor sets but I have no interest in them... the Thieves Guild has the most light armor though so even if I was into light armor, I'd have trouble deciding which set to use.

I find Ebony Armor to be cool too, but Daedric is my favorite.

Thanks to everyone mentioning Ebonymail + Nightingale Hood, Gloves, Boots. I just tried it and it looks awesome. Best looking set ever. My new favorite armor

edit: Also just tried Shadowcloak + Ebonymail. First I get the best looking set and then I can be a sneaking smoke thing. Megaawesomeness

Ebony and Daedric. It's a shame that the one-handed swords for each set look terrible.

I like the Daedric Sword.

Ebony Sword on the other hand... It looks fine as long as it's not actually in your hand... It looks like they were going for a Sapara but stopped halfway.

I like a mix of the Nightingale and Dark Brotherhood armors. NG armor and boots, DB cowl and gloves. I find it fits mostly with female sneaky characters.

For followers, I like to make them look as ridiculous as possible. A mix of dwarven, falmer, forsworn..etc.

All of the Heavy Armor is awesome. Dwarven looks scary though emotionless. Daedric, Ebony and Glass are just aggressive and angry.

I actually like the look of the Ebony weapons much better than the other types. Slick, contemporary, deadly. Just how my Assassins like them.

Riften guard armour for my assassin girl, dark scale, gold chainmail trim and purple robe thing.

My dragonborn dude wears steel plate, full set, I think it's the coolest armour in the game, the helmet is awesome.
