So which Daedric Prince is probably the least hazardous to y

Just curious. I'm no lore master but I know that a few that seem ok actually aren't so fun to deal with (Azura).

Maybe Meridia or Nocturnal?

Probably Meridia. But I like Azura, Boethiah, Hermaeus Mora and Sanguine far more. I reckon they'd be alright, if you gained their favour.

All the Princes can be wrathful in their moments. They don't mind causing harm to mortals.

I would say Azura, since she's the [god] of Inconspicuous Subtleties. By the time anything happens, anything at all, only the crazed conspiracists of the lore forum would point it out. Well after the game is over and done with :>

My favorite is sheogorath, but the least hazardous one in my op would be Meridia if you're not a vamp, or sanguine.

IMHO, none of them are benevolent. All of them are arrogantly preoccupied with their own agendas and niches and view mortals as a means by which to accomplish their agendas.

The mortals of Tamriel should rebel against the daedric princes—no more of this daedric cult nonsense.

And, if indeed Tamriel is in a deadric realm without a daedric prince (Lorkhan?), then this is possible, though doing so may require more research. Perphaps, in doing so, the mortals of Tamriel could usher in "the dominion of mortals" (cf. the Dominion of Man in LOTR).

No? Her quest in Oblivion involved killing some of her followers, but only because
they had all become vampires and didn't want to live like that. It was merciful by Azura.

She also led a group of worshippers away from Morrowind before the Red Mountain erupted
to save their lives.

Meridia is a mysterious Daedra. No one knows much about her, except for the fact that she
hates necromancy and the undead with a fiery passion. What are her reasons for hating the undead?
I wouldn't call her particularly hazardous, but I wouldn't trust her too much either.

Sanguine is just a party boy, but has a thing for getting mortals into trouble - so he's also pretty "hazardous"
especially considering the diverse range of hazardous fluids he pours into you.

If I were to devote myself to a Daedra, it would probably be Azura. She's the only one that actually seems to
care about her followers.

By Azura By Azura By Azura, Meridia is the least hazardous because he actually helps mortals by having his followers kill the undead who prey on them.
Sanguine, he just wants to party, hard.
And partying hard leads to drunkiness, litering in the temple of Dibella, lying and stealing from others(the hag you were supposed to marry and the woman you got the ring from), and those aren't even the worst things that can happen.

I like Azura... In a villainous way, that is. That could be said for many other Princes, too.

Not Nocturnal-Nocturnal. Her sphere is obscured to mortals and we have simply no idea what she wants.

Not Azura, she is as petty and vindictive as Dagon, only she pretends better.

Not Sanguine. He is as liable to serve you a drink or flay you alive, depending on what he thinks is more fun at the time.

If you are not a vampire or necromancer, probably Meridia.
She is a bit on the vain side and does enjoy having worshipers, which may be part of the reason she treats her followers well.

Or having to fight her Aureans? Or giving shelter to an Ayleid king?

She lifts you up in the air to bask in her majesty and that of Skyrim.
Its meant to fill you with awe and sway you to her cause. She is a vain one and likes being admired/ worshiped.
At no point are you in danger.
(Unless your game is bugged.)

Umaril, the Aurorans and the Ayleid king are examples of what I said earlier.
She is good to her worshipers.

One of the Aylied ruins in oblivion has inscriptions detailing some sort of cataclysm in their city where Meridia was involved. Course they could've been necromancer types too so that'd explain things.

If you're not a necro type person, meridia's probably fairly safe.

Ah yes, what dungeon was that?
I cant remember exactly what the story behind that was.

It seems either Meridia (if you are not undead or a necromancer of course!), or Azura. Given what http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Invocation_of_Azura says, I would give the edge to Azura. I cannot think of any other Daedra who gives a damn about love, whether directed at her or ourselves. That is not to say that she is an all hugs and kisses deity, but unlike the others, she at least is capable of feeling empathy.

Azura is the only Daedra Princess I have ever worshipped who seems to care about her followers. Molag Bal wanted my mind, Boethiah wanted my arms, and Nocturnal perhaps my curiosity. Azura wants all of that, and our love above all. Not our abject slavering, but our honest and genuine caring in all its forms. It is important to her that our emotions be engaged in her worship. And our love must also be directed inward. If we love her and hate ourselves, she feels our pain. I will, for all time, have no other mistress.
