I saw someone say that Alduin is the one that interrupts your execution.

Whoah! That's awesome! He must really want to kill you!

But alas, it is not Alduin. I looked at that statue of Alduin from the CE. Alduin has a different head, wings, and is much spikier. His spikes are on his stomach, neck and shoulders. They are also tipped white and jagged. He is also much bigger. Alduin is also the last dragon to enter the world. People would know about dragons if Alduin was flying around.

The dragon we see is black though, and the largest dragon we have had footage of yet. He is probably a jill, or one of those special named dragon like Miralmur the one that preys on Whiterun. My guess is that dragon will reappear somewhere.

I would rather see Alduin but it's totally not him. Besides, ALduin would just eat the town, so it would be a little shorter than the real intro.

Alduin has spikes in a mane shape around his neck, that dragon doesnt. Alduins eyes are further forward, his head is bulkier and less pointed, his nose spike is at a greater angle to his head, his snout is a completely different shape, his spikes stick up less and are shorter.

And thats just the heads compared.

It looks different because the head is in a different position. The dragon does have a spike mane. Also the spines on its back are an identical match to the Alduin statue.

It isn't Alduin.

It's probably one of his luitenants, because if I was Alduin I wouldn't show up in the start of an awesome game. :obliviongate:

Both views I'm comparing are side-on, almost exactly the same position.

Well there really isnt much difference between the Jill character model and Alduin IF that is indeed a Jill.

I think thats the point. Alduin is a bigger, spikier, more dangerous Jill. They're of the same species.

There are clear simlarities between this Dragon and what we know Alduin to look like. So this dragon has to be important. But Alduin is also supposed to be HUGE, so could there be bigger Jills? I think this dragon looks like the friendly dragon from later. Maybe the same?

My god...........Please tell me this. What kind of person at Beth would show the main boss at the VERY start of the game? Alduin can eat planets. I'm sure if that was Alduin, we would be dead. we don't even know that we are the Dragonborn yet.

The dragon at the start is black, the one we see later is purple. I highly doubt it.
