Why did people pre-order? : V - Skyrim

I pre-ordered because i was getting the Collector's Edition. My Gamestop only got enough CE's to cover the pre-orders, they did get some extra copies of the standard edition but no one is going to get a CE if they didn't pre-order it.

Even if that wasn't the case, I always pre-order new releases. I usually pay them off in full, it's just a convenience thing to me. I like walking in on launch and just getting my copy knowing there is defiantly one put aside for me and I don't have to lay out money on that day.

This for me. I like knowing i have a copy guaranteed when i walk in and that i wont have any issues picking it up.

I pre-order so I can have the convenience of not having to pay it all up front and can slowly pay it off over time. Plus I'm guaranteed a copy and don't have to run around from store to store to check if they have it. I don't trust the mail either since they've lost my stuff before. My sister lives in Atlanta and she's actually had a USPS worker steal 2 PSP's right out of the box (insane, right?). Some pre-order bonuses are better than others. The AC:R bonus this year is pretty good (upgrade to signature edition).

I'm so glad I'm not going through the agony of worrying about delivery until... 3pm where I live. I'm gonna drive 3 mins to the neighborhood Kmart and be playing by 10am. It seems so much easier... :shrug:

Wow! Amazon might actually pull this off. I had serious doubts, but I just checked my account, and it appears to just be 2 hours away from my house now!.....
