Will you be pre-ordering

A little early, but maybe the poll answers will help motivate the devs

Definitely. I pre-ordered the collectors edition of Oblivion. I had three different copies of Morrowind at one point, including the Game of the Year edition.

I probably will, but it depends on my funds at the time or if there's a really good perk.

I see no need to, since the Collectors Editions are always available in stores on release date. :)

Going to preorder the Collectors edition (Cheaper) and I'll probably watch the content for hours

I don't see why not. I hope they have a good collector's edition, with some extra missions, perks, etc, like what Bioware is doing with Dragon Age 2.

Not a chance. I've lost way too much faith in the industry to pre-order or first-day-buy anything ever again.

You can lose faith in the industry, but you can never lose faith in Bethesda! Honestly though, the Collector's Edition for Oblivion was well worth it in my opinion.

TES V and Diablo 3 are the only two games remaining that I have any intention of Pre-ordering Collectors Editions for. Don't think any other game(except further sequels to those) will ever be able to entice me to pre-order.

You must not have played Fallout New Vegas - definitely was a lot of unhappy beta testers

Of course. I may even do a stay-up-til-midnight-and-play-the-game-til-my-head-explodes run-through. :B

Fallout: New Vegas was developed by Obsidian friend, not Bethesda. :vaultboy:

for me it depends on if it's Steamworked like FNV: no

otherwise it's the collector's edition, yes even if it's a bugfest.

Yes, I know - but it was published by Bethesda - doesn't the publisher have any control and/or responsibility over game release state??? I would expect that they have 'some' word in decision to release in a Beta state

I will absolutely be pre-ordering what ever mecha super edition they have for Skyrim. I plan on having at least $100 set back just for the occasion.

This is TES. Of course I will. And it'll be the collector's edition, too.

As much as I was disappointed, I was glad I got the collector's edition of Oblivion: the Septim coin and the PGE are great. I hope we get something similar for Skyrim.

The publisher is mainly just in charge of getting word/hype/anticipation of the game out to the consumer. I haven't played Fallout: NV yet so I don't know of what issues it may have had. I have heard nothing but positive reviews about the game.

I hope for a Steam pre-order version -- I use Steam primarily as my principle game repository, and hope Bethesda releases the pre-order for TES V Skyrim on the digital platform (Steam et al) as well as physical media.

Hopefully. In which case it'll be the first game I pre-order.

Of course, I'd also like to get the collector's edition (Because a game as good as TES warrants having more than one disk)
