If You've Been Holding Out, Will You Marry for Hearthfire? I

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 1:04 am

I married Muiri, but after hearing "Thank you again for resolving my problem" for the millionth time, I put her repetitive self back in Markarth. I will probably live alone, or with a daughter. No bond is more powerful than a father and a daughter. Muiri is going to be owing me some child support money.

lol same with Camilla with her "it means so much to have the claw back" line they really should have added better spouse dialogue.

I haven't yet married anybody with my Khajiit cannibal paladin, as I was hoping to find another Khajiit for her to marry. Obviously, that would require an update of some sort. Well, with Hearthfire coming out soon, I'm thinking about just biting the bullet and having my character get married. One of the features is building a home, and at this point, I'm not sure if they'll ever add in new marriage options. I figure I'll probably marry Ysolda, since she likes the Khajiit and is sort of a drug dealer, but I could marry Shahvee instead. Most of the male characters that I like aren't able to be married, like Madesi. Dude's living in the sewers with the beggars. I thought about marrying Romlyn Dreth just for the fun of it, but I told his boss during his quest, as it was the right thing to do, and lost the means to do that.
First off, Khajiit paladin? That's the most convoluted sh*t I've ever heard o.o I like it =D
And secondly, I may marry with my Khajiit master-criminal/diplomat (how's that for a stereotype?) but if I do, it's either gonna be to another Khajiit (yeah right >.>) or to like a dealer or someone shady. Course my most important question is; Do you need to marry to adopt?

Have you not played it yet? Incredible game, one of my personal favorites. And yeah, the six scenes in TW2 are pretty damn lewd and awesome. There's one part where you get the option to give it to a succubus. Now, you're gonna be told by a couple people not to do it cause she'll kill you but I'll tell you right now *SPOILER ALERT!!!! Scroll down*

The killer is her jealous lover, and screwing her won't hurt you at all it'll just make Geralt walk crooked for a little while. No joke.

Criminal, eh? My favorite character in the game is probably that Khajiit from the Dark Brotherhood mission. He's the sort of guy who should have been in the Thieves Guild. It would have made that faction so much more enjoyable, although I guess after several games where the Thieves Guild was dominated by Khajiits, they wanted to try something different. Anyway, my character will probably bite the bullet and marry Ysolda. At least she likes Khajiits.

In the end, I decided not to marry Ysolda. I never knew that you could marry some of the Priests of Dibella, and since my character is a very devout worshipper of her, I'm going to have her marry Senna. I like her voice and she has very nice things to say; I can't say I'm a big fan of monk robes, but it's better than the rags that most marriage candidates are wearing.

I actually started a new (Khajiit as always) character today in preparation for Hearthfire. None of my characters have ever gotten married before so this will be a first. I really really really really really want to marry Kharjo, he such a handsome kitty :P But seeing as that won't be possible I currently have my eyes set on Vilkas. We will adopt lots of kids and turn them into blood thirsty little wood monkeys :P It's probably not possible to turn kids into werewolves.

"If somebody tries to sneak up on us, Khajiit will smell them coming. Or, I will not. We shall see."

Also, Khajiit as always? =( I mean fair enough, to each their own, but EVERY TIME?? o.o I've had at least one character of every race.

Did you know it's VERY unsightly for a Khajiit to show his body fur in public?

Edit - The typical http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit#Morphology dresses in an ample shawl of brightly-colored cloth, known as a budi, for defense against the harsh rays of the sun. This shirt is tightly fastened in braids down the right side, in order to prevent any part of the torso fur from being seen, as the exposure of such in public is deemed both offensive and unsightly. In battle, those who walk upright traditionally don medium-weight armor in battle, exquisitely fashioned from loose-fitting leather overlaid with lacquered and highly-burnished metal plates. While leather caps are generally preferred, those with the means to procure such will often don helms of fluted silver. Furthermore, most Khajiit bedeck themselves with jewelry, trinkets, and occasionally even herbs such as http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Nightshade.http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit#cite_note-SFOT-19 Their tattoos often have deep cultural and religious significance, as they signify their race, tribe, and the gods of their worship.http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit#cite_note-PGE1E-8

What does that have to do with what I said?

Nice little Dunmer Assassin chick from Whiterun. She's very pleased with her new mansion.

I alternate between Khajiit and Argonians. I like the beast races. The last time I really played as something else - and I mean substantially - was in Morrowind.

Nearly always. In Morrowind I've ONLY played with Khajiit. In Oblivion my first main character was a kitty as well, though I did once play through the whole game with a wood elf, and I tried out Argonians but they simply looked too weird. Also lots of custom races but they were more for fun, not for serious RPing/gaming.
I've had one Argonian character in Skyrim which was my first character but he eventually got consoled into a Khajiit as well because it made it easier for me to RP the character. I tried High Elf once but I didn't like it.

I dunno why I do this, I just really like cats. :P Khajiit FTW!

If You've Been Holding Out, Will You Marry for Hearthfire? If so, Who?

Well, my wife and I play TES5:Skyrim. So, if it is possible, I want us to be Mr. & Mrs. Dragonborn through Xbox Liveeven if it is only a symbolic gesture via metagaming.

Yeah, yeah, technically there is only one dragonborn in Skyrim. But, still, you know ...

Im still not married in any of my saves.

IF Serana was available I would have been mara amulet hooked already but that is not an option.

hearthfire is Very much worth the 5 dollars for console but not enough for me to want to travel the mara amulet road.

DLCs are awesome and definitely make me want to replay a brand new game of Skyrim again.

Serana imo just knocks every other ai npc out of the water. She was very well created imo.
