You cant marry the hottest woman in the game

Whats the point of getting married in this game. Unless they can be come companions on adventures or bang your character, really what is the point.

To relive old sitcoms from the sixties, with bland conversation and one spouse serving to cook meals? jk. OT i believe the housecarl of solitude (i forget the name) was rather attractive as females go.

I would like to marry my companion Illia, not for her looks, but because I really appreciate her after fighting 80hrs+ side by side. However, every time I get home, another girl sits in my sleeping room wanting to marry me, while I cannot marry beloved Illia. This game can be heartbreaking.

Most of the woman you can marry are ugly man. For some reason you cant marry the hottest woman you do quests for. Sure there's a few exceptions but you cant marry the best looking ones, like Ingun Black Briar for example. If you're an assassin or a thief and you married the Black Briar girl, how cool would that be? She's supposed to be your girl! There's a lot of other woman. Cant remember off the top of my head, but Im sure most people here know what Im talkin about. And yeah, these chicks are based on real woman.

The marriage in this game is a debatable addition - at least at the current state.
I understand that it's impossible to made every "free" Npc approachable,but i would have preferred at least more depth in this feature than wearing an amulet and having a "virtual life" "without six"

Apart from joke,i really don't need marriage,romance or six in a "fantasy" game like this. Only more depth and moral choices to allow a more mature experience in a M rated product (only on paper) if i've had to choose.

But don't despair, after all we already have decapitations and hundreds of murders,maybe in the future we can have six and bad language as well

Sorry, probably not in an American game. Extreme violence seems to be no problem in American media, but even the faintest indication of six or even just nakedness seems to be reason for excommunication in the USA. At least, this is how we witness it in Europe. In Europe, it is exactly the other way round, we have absolutely no problems with nakedness and six, this its just healthy nature for us, but only a small minority over here enjoys extreme violence.

Two points.

1. There is an "OP's mom" joke in there somewhere.

2. It would have been great to make ANY NPC marriageable after any quests they were key players in was completed, but the voice acting was likely only recorded for the current spouse options. I mean, how cool would it have been to marry Elsif the Fair and live in the Blue Palace?

Vex fan here I'd like the marriage to have a specific different questline for each npc available. That would require a lot of work and most likely less npcs that one can marry, but hey, I like substance over quantity. The amulet thing and bam! the stranger calls my character "my love" is too forced and cheap imo.

All i can say is that in real life i would be far more disgusted If I came across a decapitated body rather than a naked one - or two or more people that were making six for that matter.

A naked body can be artistic,and six gave us life and/or simple fulfillment; i don't see nothing wrong to display them - preferably "with class" -in a M rated product.

you can't marry ingun because maven won't allow it...she's not gonna let some poor nobody marry her only daughter and mooch off her mead and money.

ha so true, most americans are so prude in public yet perverted in private. It's equally funny that male nudity is more accepted then female nudity in america, guy butt is shown on tv without any complaints but god forbid if you see bare female butt...my theory is there's many closet gays and overweight insecure women so thats why beautiful female nudity is frowned on.

The proof is in gta as well..full frontal male nudity was shown in a mission scene with no outcry but strippers nippies are taped with a big X for no no.

Americans are so soft nowadays, i'm almost ashamed to call myself 1
