So, seeing as how every "Your favorite games." thread here just ends up being nothing but RPGs (makes sense, this being an RPG forum), and how threads about specific games that aren't RPGs just get buried, I figured it couldn't hurt to start a thread for all those other forgotten genres.

Lets try and keep this thread less like a list and more discussion focused. Not to say you shouldn't make a list, but try to discuss said lists.

I'll kick it off with a few of my favorites...

Sly Cooper, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkachi.

I would recommend Tenkachi to anyone, even if you despise everything about DBZ. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUL_J-sig1A video should speak for itself. The most fun I've ever had with a fighting game (I've played a lot of fighting games), deep character customization, and over 250 unlockable characters.

I mostly play MP FPS and RPG's... and for MP FPS there is only one (for me)... Battlefield

Brink was fun and kinda innovative.... laggy P2P on console killed any potential it had though.

Mirror's Edge, GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption, BioShock, Just Cause 2. There are more but I'm too lazy to think of them right now.

I've tried a few flight simulating games myself...I usually end up killing everybody.

Seriously though, I have a soft spot for GTA SA and Vice City, Saints Row II, and F.E.A.R., plus all the old N64 and Gameboy games.

I do miss the days of Tekken 3. Less focus on those silly juggles and more focus on raw fighting.
