Your ONLY Complaint.

How the PC version was just a direct console port with no improved features or options beyond a very slight resolution boost.

Too many things to complain about, can't pick just one...

I mentioned it in another thread but for me it's the speed of the game. I seem way too fast and it becomes very disorienting to the point where I can't play for too long. Not because of sickness, just because it seems that awful to me. I have never experienced this in another game EVER.

I put up with all the crap that came with the launch of Fallout New Vegas and Dead Island and never complained once, I can put up with the horrible UI in this game, the new and "improved" magic system and every other complaint in this thread. I just can't get used to the speed, which I guess isn't even a problem since I am the only one who seems to complain about this. It's so bad that I wish I could sell my game back to Steam for $40 and take a $23 loss on the game after less than a week. I just hope I can adjust the speed in the Construction Set.

I have yet to climb to the top of the Throat of the World, but as it stands now the main story line is a bit confusing and lacking. I felt like in Oblivion there was something driving me towards Oblivion but in Skyrim the story has just automatically assumed me the Dragonborn. There should have been more lead up to this realization and they should have waited until further in the game to have our character fighting a dragon. The game is great! Just the main story so far is lacking compared to Oblivion's.

Uninteresting companions and general lack of dialogue for characters. Compared to Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas the character dialogue is severely lacking (though the VO is excellent)

You level way too damn fast.

I've logged about 30 hours into that game (I know, I've been a mole this weekend) and I'm already level 25, almost 26.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but it was not possible to level this fast in Oblivion. I logged at least 150 hours in my main character on Oblivion, and he only got to level 31.
The scale is different. It's just a number. Your level 30 Skyrim character will not be as tough as your level 30 Oblivion character. (Leaving aside the question of difficulty scaling :))

The UI is completely and utterly terrible. I can't view my stats quickly, and the inventory is balls. It feels like I'm playing Fable, except worse. I'm on console, by the way, and I hear it's even worse on PC.

If you're on PC, I think you might be having FOV issues. Try pressing ~ to open console, then type FOV 90. Without this movement in the game can be disorienting.

Frequent crashing. I know it's a Bethesda game and all, so it's to be expected, but I thought they were supposed to have a QA team by now. Based on observations, some of the problems appear to date back to Oblivion, which is a bit much.

That I can't drop single pieces of gold onto the ground ie Morrowind. I missed it in Oblivion and I miss it in Skyrim.

I'm hoping someone can mod it in. Just want to be able to make a room in my house the TREASURE ROOM! Can't really do this w/o piles O gold.

BEAUTIFUL AI on the enemies.. switching to the most damaging targets, going after the master of pets easier, and the like.
GIVE THAT AI TO PETS.. annoying watching my reanimated lich thing run into a wall with a bow.. with 6 spiders wailing on it at melee range.
Let us move our pets.. giant ice golem stand is doorway.. i have to go make a sandwich to get through.
The crashing.. oh the random crashing.. and the lag when zoning.. and the memory leaks, and terrible compatibility with steam... etc

For a basic gamer, you are right... the leveling process is faster but expect the last levels to take much longer and your character won't be as good as it was in Oblivion because max Strenght and Endurance could be achieved by level 25 (menaing max Stamina and good hitting power). In Oblivion, I build a lvl 50 mage in about 50 hours (using training and skilling). I think Skyrim will be tougher even as a lvl 40 than Oblivion was.

To name only one complaint, I have to go with the ''you cannot know your bounty''. As a pickpocket-thief-assassin, there is no way of knowing your actual bounty in a town unless you are arrested (the General Stats only give you your Largest Bounty and your Total Lifetime Bounty).

Not enough variables to make a truly unique character

They need more variables

They need ATTRIBUTES

Strength for melee damage boost, carry weight

Intelligence for magical damage boost

Willpower for magic resistance

Agility for archery damage boost

Speed for an increase in foot speed

Endurance for stamina boost

Luck for loot chance boost

Personality for speech boost

My only complaint is that smithing takes a lil too long to level up because the items required are on the pricey side. That's the only complaint I can think of. lol

The textures and shadows on PC. I wish they'd included high res ones and hope they release a high res pack soon.
