Animals you won't kill

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 5:01 am

I was laughin' so hard at this typo!

But on topic:

I will purposely kill hunters, bandits and other wildlife (wolves, bears, etc) if I catch them trying to kill or having killed a fox.

So, i forgot the H in treath. SO? :swear:

Not hatin' on ya, it just came out as an ironic typo that you would only kill an animal if it was a TREAT for you, like an icecream or something! I know you didn't mean it that way, but it was funny (to me at least, humor is different for everyone the world over). Cheers! :tes:

Ah, I see, that would be tread. Indeed the multicultural forum is a place where humor gets confused.

Back on topic: I never have killed any of the raptors either. Sorta makes getting those ingredients a little more difficult for alchemy, but that's why there are vendors, no?

i dont attack animals unless they attack me or i intend to hunt them. but i wont attack mammoths cause not only are they non hostile unless you threaten them or attack them but it just seems like a really bad idea to tick off a 2 ton mass of fur blubber and muscle that has 4 sharp tusks longer than you are tall alone.

I kill all animals except poultry. Punched somebody's chicken(not a euphemism) and got arrested. Was told "we don't go for that sort of thing around here". I would get busted by the nordic Bufurd Pussor.

i punched someones chicken in skyrim then i had to pay in blood turns out punching an orc chief in the groin is frowned upon in the strongholds

From video's i've seen on Youtube i noticed that some people who play Skyrim kill every animal that crosses their path. Personally, i'm a animal lover and i will never kill animals, unless they are a direct treat to me.

Here's a list of animals i don't kill:

Mudcrabs
Horkers
rabbits
Mammoths
Goates
Deers
Dogs
Cows
Horses
Foxes
Chickens
Birds

What is your point of view on animals in Skyrim? And do you kill them?
Isnt that almosst every animal? x3
And can you actually kill birds? And also,it depends... Sometimes i like to be a hunter,Turn into a werewolf and run in the snowy forests killing deers and elks

Yeah, I too found that typo to be outrageous! Aren't ALL animals a tasty treat? lmao!

I will go out of my way to whack a rabbit with a war hammer... if i have one..

He he. Guilty as charged.

Otherwise, I rarely kill non-hostile creatures.
I never ever kill foxes or doggies because they're awesome (Barbas would be the exception...ugh...Barbas....).
If I'm RPing, I'll hunt deer for thier meat and skins.
Never really had much desire to kill chickens or goats, but I did kill an eagle once just to see if it could be done.
Horkers, I just feel bad for. They try so darn hard to chase you, but their little, stubby flippers just can't carry them that fast. Sometimes I'll even let them get in a few hits on me before I casually walk away.

Creatures of the two-legged variety, however, had better watch out! ;)

I'll generally leave birds and rabbits alone, but I do need blacksmithing materials. I'll generally avoid horker since they don't drop anything worth keeping, and they don't move very fast if they do aggro.

The last one is a throw-over habit from Oblivion, where it was easier due to Speed and Athletics, but the lack of such skills in Skyrim hasn't stopped me. The moment I spot any sort of deer, the hunt is officially on... and everything else is secondary. Sometimes I don't even bother with the knife, and chase elks down to punch them to death and harvest their sweet meats... ...... Then I eat the venison, snap out of the hunter's frenzy, and wonder where the hell I got to and what I was doing before VENISON!!
Does take me back to many days spent chasing Venisons across the entire length of Cyrodill, swinging my little knife around like a hokerr, jumping off cliffs onto them, etc. I've been killed many times while hunting Venisons, simply due to complete lack of self-preservation instincts in the hunting frenzy.

I have fond memories of going all Chuck Norris on the deer in Cyrodiil. Why bother with a bow when you can run alongside a deer and punch it in the face?
