Yep, that just happened. Reports are mixing between 5.8 and 6. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Quakes/usc0005ild.html

I felt it in MD, it lasted about 20-30 seconds or so in two waves it felt like.

Felt it in CT. Thought I was going crazy and imagining it at first. Then someone said it was an earthquake.

all insane.

5.8 in va. apparently. 90 mile epicenter. don't see how that affects us in jersey and ny...but whatever.

other day it was colorado, today va. maybe we'll all be dead by morning. good.

Nope, can't say I felt that one. I do feel them quite often though.

Facebook is fun to watch now though.

I might have been the cause of it. I was dancing pretty hard to some good old tune at the time.

Felt a rumbling in Winston-Salem, NC. Thought I was crazy or the lift chair I was sitting in was malfunctioning, then I got on Facebook and saw a whole lot of status updates from other people in Winston who experienced it.

By the way, it's because Chuck Norris did a push-up.
