I could be wrong but, wouldn't one of the advantages of beta testing on a console be that all testers will be using vanilla version Skyrim?

Anyway, signed up.

Underestimated my hours played though ... didn't realize these were shown on the save file until I read a previous post.

Geez I've put a lot of hours into this game.

This isn't fair! You get a timed exclusive PLUS beta privleges! What the hell! You may as well just make the 30 day timed exclusive into 60 day

I just bought The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim yesterday on PC but this new game add-on seem like alot of fun.
Is there any chance that PC players will be able to beta test Dawnguard?

Nope still not working 4 me, I tried 6 times even typed the address myself 2 time to make sure :blush:

anyone else having trouble getting into the link? I REALLY want to beta test for you guys :banana:

Atleast a month, i'd guess. If it's $20 "big" there's lot test.

Sins Rebellion Beta that i have been participating in has been running for several months now, but as a RTS with three asymmetrical factions there's a lot to test for.

Don't click the link in the quote. That one gave me the same error, as soon as I clicked the one at the top of the page, it worked fine. Hope that fixes it for you! I'd hate for someone to miss out because the page was wonking out. :/

Does that link work? If it does not, then try copy and pasting or typing it into the URL. The servers might be busy with everyone jumping in if you keep getting errors.

It shouldn't really surprise anyone that the beta testing is Xbox exclusive. I'm sure Micro$oft paid big money for those 30 days.

Damn. I have just applied, just hope there isn't a game breaking bug. I also sort of don't want the Beta to be free. I want to be able to pay Bethesda for the DLC if I get in.

hehe I was under the impression you were a pc user, but none the less what I said still applies. Imagine if xbox got to test the 1.6 patch and the pc had to wait 2 weeks. Imagine the out-rage.

The only reason I can see is that PS3 has the worst issues that aren't going to be fixed and then they're basically in the dark about whether the DLC will even work or not.

How many of these 360 kiddies will actually do REAL beta testing (especially stress testing and bug catching/reporting) instead of just using it as an excuse to get early access to the game...

Hopefully PC users get to beta test for future releases to ensure a quality launch-day release.

Just signed up to the beta, there will be tons of spoilers thanks to derps not thinking clearly, we all know that. Though i'm happy to help with this beta business properly :biggrin:

What? We're getting the DLC first...of course we'd get a beta first. You're assuming that they won't do something similar for PS3 and PC owners (obviously it can't be a beta, as the DLC would be out, but they could always give away a few copies).

I was just thinking that, I hope they actually know there is a difference between a beta and previewing something. I hope they actually "test" it.

ive just signed up and is hoping to join the beta for dawngaurd. I will play the game for story but mostly for what the beta is meant for, BUG-SQUASHING! Ill report any major bugs and will make several chars each on different sides. Just so people know and dont flame the the people who get it and dont look for bugs.
