Hope not.
Ha! Me too.

But I feel that will not be the case. I will be willing to wager there are at least 10 threads to get locked the first day of release.

Yeah, there is bound to be, for some reason everyone wants 5 minutes of fame.

Hey if it will help fix the bugs then those selected better damn well test it right. Which is more fame-worthy: Spoiling the story early and getting sued or Helping to fix the bugs and improving the enjoyment of your fellow players?

Well, hopefully most of us will be posting about the DLC in a closed forum. :deal:

True, although the more layman posts i see the less likely i think my chances are of getting a spot on the Beta, especially if they don't release it outside of the USA

I applied for the Dawnguard Beta before i had signed up onto the forum, do you think that will matter?

And i guess it helps Bethesda if your accurate with your characters and playthroughs, so they know whos best suited for the Beta? But hey i hope im picked and good luck to all (:

Getting sued, definetly. No one gets into news for doing their jobs as expected :teehee:

there look for players who have like 5,000 post on the fourms so they know they can tell about the bugs

We don't know that. It's not the number if posts. But the quality of them

Yeah some people have 12 posts but they are worth more than some random guy who just goes "i agree" to every thread and has 8794 posts

I don't think the actual number has much to do with. I mean that They will most likely consider long standing members first, but in the end EVERYONE should be given access to a private forum for discussions and or reports. That includes people that are selected that do not have a forum account. That is IF they cannot fill the estimated number of participants by forum members alone.

Microsoft sure is throwing a lot of money around to gain special privileges for the 360, from earlier content to special access. I wonder why their PC OS systems don't get the same treatment, wouldn't it be almost the same price for them?

My only concern is my work...I haven't been getting in as much play time with my character as I'd like. Heck I've ended up deleting half the new characters I make since I always just love that first one.

But then again...they would actually understand if I needed time from work to play the beta

I'm a long time lurker here, I'm often on reading topics, and I just read in this thread that an account is required for beta selection. I submitted my beta application before creating this account by around a day. Is that okay, or should I re-submit just to be safe?
