Are You Going to be a Medic?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 7:52 am

But we can't put our points into just ONE tree of abilities, no? :P

I don't remember which, but it was either that you have to have atleast 3 in every tree, the rest you're free to spend as you wish or that it was just unwise not to have +abilities in every class.. Eh, who gives a shiet :P

You only get universals until level 5, THEN you start unlocking class-specific abilities - so until that point you'll only get abilities you can use with every class. You're never forced to take class-specific abilities for a class you don't care about. EVER.

And if you were, it certainly wouldn't be 3 - single-spec players would then be forced to take NINE unwanted abilities. That's almost half your levels!

Light Medic first

Why?

I always play healers, no matter what game. People that get off on big numbers, people without imagination play Soldier. People with build up real life agressivness that feel the need to repeatedly stab peoples faces pick Operatives. People with Control Freak Syndrome and those with two left hands in real life chose Engineer.

Those that see their errors, they smile, they do not want the poor souls to be depressed by not succeeding in their pixelated dreams. So they pick a Medic and support them. We are the Shepperds, the Saints of the online community. While they brag about their damage numbers and kill ratios, we are silent, smiling, waiting for the next round to keep their dream going for them.

Because that is what we do.

Medics...there is no other choice !

FOR LO MUST WE TEND TO OUR FLOCK, WE BASTIONS OF LIGHT, WE SAVIORS OF THE WRETCHED. FOR WITHOUT OUR EVER WATCHING, EVER PATIENT GAZE OUR BROTHERS, OUR FAULTED, IMPERFECT BROTHERS WOULD SURELY BE FELLED BY THEIR OWN DEFICIENCIES. YES WE GOOD SAMARITANS, WE FEW SALVATION INCARNATE.

I guess in that same vein all medics would have God complexes.

Cheers, mate!

Medic will be my primary class, but since I'm such a Demoman fanatic, I may go heavy with a grenade launcher.

Two turtles for anyone who gets the relatively relevant reference. Or give me a turtle if you thought it was awesome. ^_^

Seeing as switching class is so easy, I'm proud of you for being a better man for the team.

I'm tired of your snide insinuations, your disingenuous assertions, and whatever else you have to offer next time around.

Ahhh, I so rarely go off-topic that this feels like a beautiful sunrise on Aite.
