All Argonians would want to end up back at Black Marsh though... It's a Hist thing.

Yay! Finally someone complains about his/her race getting recognized by an NPC, when everyone cries about NOT getting recognized. LOL of the day.
This.

So, judging by what we know, the only way you could've been born in Skyrim is through a small tribe of Argonians that considered their lifestyle safe enough to lay eggs. Having never licked form the Hist tree, you are, essentially, still 12!

Hadvar is not the brightest bulb. Also the imperials don't really care who you are. They're in a neck-shortening mood.

No, it's more like he's not sixually mature.
But I've heard that Argonians outside of Black Marsh carry about sap tapped from the Hist.

Pfft yeah seems to me like a cop-out. Methinks it's just a case of writing a character backstory with no real knowledge of the race you're playing. No offense to OP, ofc.

Well, let him play like he wants. Heck, I made a Witcher. But that was one of my unserious characters though...

I can't imagine an Argonian that wouldn't want to go to Black Marsh at least once, even in death. What's to complain about?

Yeah and that's fine except when you make a thead about it, pointing out it's racial inequalities when in fact it's the opposite way around. Playing that way is fine, but publicly showing discontent over something you brought on yourself?

Sigh...
The game is supposed to let you be who you want and do what you want, that have alwyas been a major PR move for Bethesda games.
The comments like that are probably meant to help the casuals get a tiny grip at least of what they're playing.

When I started as my Breton she wanted to punch Hadvar in the face and scream "I WAS BORN IN CYRODIIL YOU RACIST FECK!".
I know Hadvar isn't so bad but it really peeved off my character.

I just think if you're going to be enthusiastic and confrontational regarding your preferenes, you should at least be correct. Of course he is free to believe and do wahtever he wants, I thought people around here for sticklers regarding Tamriel history?

If Khajiit remembers correctly, no Imperial asks where one is from. They ask who one is. If J'rahzir were Imperial List-Reader, Khajiit would have been far more concerned with the tall hairy one with the gag and vivid fondness for the color blue. Why fret over cheese when one has the sweet sugar?

If they don't do so, they should. Small kitties shouldn't walk about crossing borders in their own.

Of course one loves J'rahzir. Who can withstand the silver tongue of J'rahzir?

J'rahzir noticed this to be a problem for Khajiit. Perhaps if J'rahzir purred when he greeted, the Nord and the Imperial would think this Khajiit to be a dreaded housecat, master of the Arcane, and thus to be feared. Housecat Arcane Masters are to be feared.

Curses, Woman, be careful! Khajiit just explained how the Khajiit gets smaller, their spells get larger! J'rahzir is not fond of being set on fire. Fur does not smell particularly graceful when burnt to a crisp. >:c

My character was born in High rock but thanks for the assumption [censored]. My point behind is topic is that bethesda should allow us to choose where we were born, it doesn't have to be locked race to locked province, or it could be "Unknown" for anyone who was RP'ing the "I lost my memory" route. Anybody else support this idea?

in this day and age, i see no reason why some "backstory" elements and bonuses/restrictions/ whatever shouldn't be a part of actual functioning gameplay.

everything shouldn't have to be done in the mind.

nor, should character development and gameplay mechanics not seek advancement and innovation.
